I got laser hair removal a week ago, and the hair is growing back like it is suppose to, however, I am curious if shaving before the 2 week mark where shedding will occur will have a negative effect on the hair falling out.
My clinic recommends getting laser on the face at two week intervals due to the fact that I haven't noticed any hair fall out between sessions. I questioned this as I thought 4 weeks is recommended between treatments but they said that this is only applies to every other area of the body except the face which can be done at 2 week intervals. I would like to know if it is common to have treatments every 2 weeks and am I likely to start noticing hair shed by doing this instead of every weeks
I had a number of sessions two years ago with a clinic that went very well. To the best of my recollection they used an Alexandrite laser. I'm a male looking for thinning of chest hair and after each session all hair shed and I was very happy with results. I moved in the meantime and went to a new local clinic 3 weeks ago. They used a Soprano Ice. I've only had two small patches of hair shed. Most hair seems untreated. They told me this is normal for this laser, is this true?
I had my first laser session 6 days ago and I saw the hair grow back the next day. The laser used on myself is the Soprano ICE The hair is growing back like it used to when can I get roughly expect it to shed ?? So this is my upper lip I have also got a bit of pigmentation from shaving it almost looks green its Making me question wether to continue with laser and revert back to threading its like a mans stubble .
I have been getting LHR on my arms (including upper arms), i'm on my fourth session now. It is alexandrite laser, but everytime i get my treatment done the hairs dont grow back and shed at all until exactly 6th week after and they dont fall by themselves, i have to pull them out with my fingers, and between my sessions i always see my hair folicles in my skin so there are black dots on my skin all the time. i want to know if this means the laser is working or not? and if its normal.
Hi, I did about 5 sessions of laser hair removal and saw almost no results. The hair would shed, but I did not notice any reduction. The levels used were 6, 7, 8, 8, 9 and 9. Is this too low? Should I try again at another place, or is this my own body's reaction?
I just got my first session today. I know I missed some spots in the backend when I was shaving. However, the lady said I did fine shaving and lasered. I got home and checked it out,and felt a lot of hair (longer) in the area. Will they shed away or did she dgaf'ed and didn't do it thoroughly?
I had my first treatment of laser hair removal on chest and abdomen two weeks ago and I almost have any hair. Im hairy with black dense hair (and light skin). I wanted to know if is it possible to have almost 90% of the hair shed out with one treatment or will it grow (less and thiner) almost totally. The idea of my treament is to reduce density but not remove hair of the area. I'm surprised because its two weeks and it didnt grow the hair just a few ones. Will it grow patchy o uniform on the chest area?
