Should I still feel hair after Brazilian Laser Hair removal?

I just got my first session today. I know I missed some spots in the backend when I was shaving. However, the lady said I did fine shaving and lasered. I got home and checked it out,and felt a lot of hair (longer) in the area. Will they shed away or did she dgaf'ed and didn't do it thoroughly?

Laser hair removal offers permanent results but only a fraction of the hair follicles are susceptible to treatment at any given time. That is why multiple treatments are needed. We typically start with recommending a bundle of 5 treatments for patients that have not had prior laser hair removal.

Thank you for your question. It is too soon to evaluate the results of your laser hair removal treatment. Hair follicles can take up to 2 weeks to shed following your treatment. Also, not all of the hairs will respond in any one session and it typically takes 5 or more treatments to achieve optimal hair reduction. Laser hair removal should more appropriately be called laser hair reduction. Laser treatments  will typically destroy 60-90% of follicles over the course of several treatments. What is left behind is usually very fine or poorly pigmented hairs. Fine vellus hair can become coarse with hormonal stimulation so it is very common for patients to need a repeat treatment once or twice per year after you have achieved your optimal result. A very small percentage of patients will not respond to laser treatments even though their hair seems appropriate. For this reason, it is best to not commit yourself to a very expensive package of treatments up front.
