I am getting botox in my forehead only. Is it okay to get ipl laser the next day ONLY under my eyes (not where botox was injected). The ipl is only to help stubborn bruises that are lingering 4 weeks after facial fat-grafting. Unfortunately, it's how my appointments are falling and I just want to make sure one won't affect the other.
Hello, Please can you advise on the best treatment for dark vascular under eye circles? I have read a lot of different things, some recommend IPL laser others recommend Fraxel laser and then some say neither of these treatments would help. I am not interested in fillers, as you can see I do not have eye bags or wrinkles, just the darkness that I have always had and hate! Many Thanks
Female, white, 38. In march 21 i had restalyne lift for some tear trough filler and i had pretty good results. 1 syringe split b/w both eyes. Definitely got rid of my hollow under eyes. Over a year later i was pretty happy. In fact, the tear trough isnt really noticable. However, as time passed, i notice, especially when i smile, i seem pretty wrinkly or crepe under eyes. I recently got a touchup of regular restalyne and alittle botox but still crepe. Is ipl a better idea? Or something else?
I am almost ready to go see a Dr. about my Broken Capillaries. I have gotten some great information about the IPL. I also have some broken capillaries under and around (the eye bag area) that are purple and blue. These are larger than the Broken Capillaries that are on my cheeks. Can the purple and blue veins be treated with an IPL? How close to under the eye can you get?
Would another treatment be needed on top of IPL or different treatment altogether? At consult I asked which procedure IPL, Fraxel or DermaSweep would be best to fix my concerns. She said IPL , micro peels& Botox Concerns in order of importance 1)brown spots & white nodules entire face 2) chin texture & redness 3) cheek texture 4) white spots (milia?) under eyes 5) browning at corner of lips 6) browning/darkness general orbital area 7) sagging eye lids 8) loose skin under eyes Would IPL fix 1-6? Particuarly 5 & 6 I am olive undertone with medium yellowish sensitive skin
I'm not sure if IPL is the right treatment . I have this one spot and some broken capillaries under my eyes. The spot on my nose is my main concern. I used a benzoyl peroxide wash that caused a rash under my eyes on top of my cheeks. I now have this faint brown periorbital ring that looks like a shadow making my undereyes look worse. If I only treat the nose spot with laser, is it cheaper? If I need to do the entire face, will it also help the pih under eyes? Alternative treatments?
I bought an IPL machine with the below specifications for the purpose of reducing age spots, under-eye veins and helping with pigmentation. It is only advertised as a hair removal product but I know that IPL works for the other reasons as well. It's not as strong as an IPL machine used in a spa but I'm wondering if it can still work for what I'm using it for. Irradiation wavelength: 530nm: Flashes times: 999,999: Voltage: 110V-240V: Power: 36W:
I am getting under eye + cheek filler soon. However I'd like to also get another IPL or two this fall/winter. Will the heat from the IPL melt the filler? Especially under my eyes where the skin is really thin and the filler doesnt go as deep? Filler choices: Voluma for cheeks and Restalyne for under eyes.
I am wondering if getting a IPL treatment in my eye area will enlarge these veins or make them more obvious? I know IPL doesn't treat these veins but I wouldn't want them to become more obvious with the treatment. My skin is quite thin and sensitive.
I am 51. I had an IPL two days ago. Some parts of my face are still swollen especially under my eyes. (The brochure said swelling for a few hours or a day, or more. But the technician did not prepare me for any swelling.) Is this normal? Will it go away? It seems like the skin under my eyes will have more wrinkles due to the puffiness. Did I create a bigger problem?
