I have completed my Invisalign treatment (13 trays) about 3-4 months ago. Near the end of treatment, I started experiencing a lot of jaw popping every day which has not improved ever since finishing treatment. I find the jaw popping to be very annoying and I never experienced this prior to Invisalign. What can I do to eliminate it? Since Invisalign caused the jaw popping, can I try to reverse treatment and wear the aligners backwards to get my old bite back?
I'm required to change my trays every week. I haven't had a problem until putting in upper tray 50; it doesn't fit and pops out from my right last molar. The tray for that molar is too big. I called my dentist and they got intouch with the ortho they work with who is in charge of my treatment and he recommended I squeeze the tray close with my fingers. It still opens again after a while. It seems it's just that one tooth that has their problem. What should I do?
I have been in tray 1 for 3 weeks. I was in that tray for that long because I was away from home and didn't have my tray 2. When I went to switch to tray 2 my trays went on easily. However, my last teeth in the back of the top does not fit. I do have a crown on that tooth. The tray is super big and it hangs down. If I bite down it makes a suction sound. When I open my mouth the tray pops off that tooth. I'm assuming this isn't mornal. Is this okay? Any advice on how to fix this?
