Why is my tray popping off my tooth?

I have been in tray 1 for 3 weeks. I was in that tray for that long because I was away from home and didn't have my tray 2. When I went to switch to tray 2 my trays went on easily. However, my last teeth in the back of the top does not fit. I do have a crown on that tooth. The tray is super big and it hangs down. If I bite down it makes a suction sound. When I open my mouth the tray pops off that tooth. I'm assuming this isn't mornal. Is this okay? Any advice on how to fix this?

Try to pinch the back of the tray together in the area it is popping off.  Pinch it so you are squeezing the part of the tray that faces your cheek and the part that faces the roof of your mouth together.  This will tighten the tray in that area and can keep it from popping off.  The other option is to call your orthodontist and tell them what is happening so they can take a look at it.

This is not a normal fit. Try to wear the tray for 10 days and switch to tray number 3. If the same problem occurs, the best way is to take new impressions and remake the trays.
