I really hope this isnt a dumb question, but I have to ask. I start my invisilign treatment om November 28. The question I have is if I go out for a night with my friendsfor drinks do I take my trays out for every drink and brush after every drink???..or since I have to wear them for 22 hrs/day do i leave them in while I imbibe (lol
Hi, I'd like to know if it's possible to just use a mouthwash like Listerine to rinse the mouth after a meal and then get the Invisalign on right after? Because brushing of the teeth might not be possible all the time. Brushing would only happen an hour or so later when I'm able to get back to the office. Thanks!
I brush after everything I eat but I don't want to do that in School as it can be time consuming and very awkward since everyone would probably be staring at me. Is there an alternative? Can I instead just floss and then rinse my teeth and aligners? Thanks in advance!
So I was an idiot and wore my 4th (and second to last) invisalign tray for WAY too long. I wore it for months basically because I went through a stressful time; I always made sure to brush everything and floss after every meal. Some days I would definitely have the invisalign out for too long though. I finally put in a new aligner (and final aligner) and when I took it out to eat, a sliver of the back of my tooth came off. What should I do until Monday when I can contact my dentist/orthodontist??
I always take my invisalign out everytime I eat and drink. I also brush my teeth and trays regularly. But, when I took them out today the molars are greenish-yellow. I am on my 7th tray and this has never happened before. Also, is there anyway to take the green away?
I have Invisalign (express and top only) and read somewhere that you should wait 30 minutes after eating to brush and reinsert the liners. Is that true? Also, if I use ACT/fluoride mouthwash (total paranoid about cavities with liners), should I wait to insert the liners too? I tend to want to swish water a lot in my mouth when I have the aligners in, is that good or bad?
I'm considering getting invisalign to fix my slightly overcrowded teeth and overjet. However, I'm going to be a junior in high school, and I don't want unsightly braces. I heard that for invisalign though, you have to brush your teeth after every meal. Does that mean you have to bring a toothbrush and paste to the bathroom/ to the lunch table, and do that in front of everybody? That's the major concern for me right now. Also, what's the average cost of them in Ohio?
