Hi I'm 23 and started getting fillers exactly 4 years ago, I've had a total of 7 mls. 5mls was done in the first 1.5 years. I found that filler wouldn't last and once swelling had gone my lips looked the same. I have a feeling it has migrated beyond my lips as I've started getting nasolabial folds. The skin around the corners of my mouth feel lumpy. I don't believe my mouth area could have aged this fast in 4 years when I've not lost any weight and rarely in the sun
I have migrated lip filler and overfilled cheeks that I need to address. From my understanding dissolving is my only option to correct it, but theres a 44% rating on Real Self and hundreds of stories of permanent damage. Why is that? Are they true? Should I be concerned about permanent damage similar to these stories?
Hi, I had 2ml HA filler over 2 yrs and got my upper lip dissolved after it migrated. Post dissolving, my lips became smaller but it seems like the migration is still there. The migrated filler looks like white patches around my lips. I'm concerned that injecting more hyaluronidase will target my own HA rather than the white patchmy nurse said she cant exactly target where it goes. How many sessions does it take to dissolve migrated filler? Below are current and pre-filler photos.
I had cheek fillers but I think it migrated and dropped down my face towards my smile lines giving me bad nasolabial fold on one side of my face. 1) How can I be sure it is the filler that is causing this? 2) Can Hyaluronidase be injected into that area? 3) What if that area doesn't have filler and hyaluronidase is injected? What will happen to that area? 4) What can a DR. use to scan my face to see where old filler is located? 5)Is there any Dr in Los Angeles that scans face for filler?
I decided to get my whole upper lip dissolved because was there was some migration, it was projecting, and slightly overfilled. In the past, I've used juvederm xc in small amounts in my lips. I most recently used one of the softer fillers. I've been injected with 3 full vials of hylenex. The size decreased, but I still have some nodules left. Does seems like an excessive amount to still have anything left? I'm wondering if I need to find a new injector.
This may be a really stupid question. I have had nose filler for about a few years now. I understand the more treatments, the longer it lasts each time. I am looking to get my filler dissolved and refilled just as a refresh as I have started to notice slight migration. Will this mean Im back to square one again and will need more regular treatments, or will the filler still last as long as before?
I had Juvederm xl injected over 6 months ago, had what I thought was most of it dissolved, and then Belotero injected into my temples to lift up nasolabial folds. About 3 weeks later I had Morpheus 8 done on my face and the filler seemed to migrate all over my face. I was puffy for weeks and nothing could alleviate it. I have paid for over 2300 worth of hylanex and it's not dissolving. What can i do?
I had 1 ml of Juvederm voluma in my chin almost 2 years ago and noticed really pronounced migration and a heaviness to my lower face. I've had two syringes to dissolve it thus far on two separate occasions. I notice little difference after the Hyaluronidase. An ultrasound confirmed it's still in my face! It's migrated in such a way that I look like a ventriloquist dummy. Is this ever going to go away? It looks so boggy and awful, I just want my old face back.
Got 3 syringes of filler for 1st time (all different types of Restalyne) & there were communication issues & I thought I recieved sculptra so I massaged my whole face the first night. Next day I contacted injector who told me no I recieved Restalyne & not to massage. I think my chin & sides of chin filler went under my face because now I have loose skin there that is movable. Is this possible & can it be dissolved?
