How many sessions of hyaluronidase is required to remove migrated filler? (Photos)

Hi, I had 2ml HA filler over 2 yrs and got my upper lip dissolved after it migrated. Post dissolving, my lips became smaller but it seems like the migration is still there. The migrated filler looks like white patches around my lips. I'm concerned that injecting more hyaluronidase will target my own HA rather than the ‘white patch’—my nurse said she can’t exactly target where it goes. How many sessions does it take to dissolve migrated filler? Below are current and pre-filler photos.

The answer is really dependent on how much filler was placed. In a nutshell, you place in as many units and how many sessions as required to gain the lip size and shape you desire. What people mostly want to know following lip filler dissolution, is how to tighten their skin in the area for which I recommend IPL, though that's mostly used for hyperpigmentation these days, and Morpheus for which skin tightening results are unparalleled. Elacore is another procedure which can core 5-8% of skin with each session. Elacore was developed particularly for the midface area around the nasolabial folds and marionette lines. When using hyaluronidase to dissolve filler, it’s true that the enzyme may not selectively target just the migrated product, as it can also affect any remaining hyaluronic acid in the area, including your own natural HA.The number of sessions required to fully dissolve migrated filler can vary widely depending on the amount of filler present and how long it has been there. In many cases, multiple sessions may be necessary, and results can sometimes be seen after just one or two treatments.
