I had no complications, no rashes, no breakouts post Halo, just a little milia, MENDS & peeling. I've had increased redness my 4th week out, I had not experienced that the previous 3wks, only the Halo glow. Intermittently this redness occurs now. Just curious if this is common. Across checks and bridge of nose.
I had the Halo laser 4 weeks ago to treat some melasma from having 4 babies. After the treatment I was red and swollen for over a week. I was prescribed hydrocortisone for 2 weeks. I am still a bright red-brown color, and it looks to me like my melasma is a lot worse and has spread. My doctor said that some people take longer to heal than others, and I should end up with a good result. Can this be true? At what point should I be concerned?
I am of medium to darker skin tone and had an unqualified person perform IPL on my inner thigh/ bikini area. I had some discoloration in that area and she assured me that IPL would fix this. (If i wouldve done a bit of research i wouldve found out that IPL doesnt work on my skin tone) anyways i trusted her and she completely burnt me and left me worse then before. Will the halo laser be able to reverse the hyper pigmentation of these burns?
15 days ago I had the Sciton halo done on level 30/20. I had it done mostly for fine lines, but a little bit of pigmentation issues as well. I see no decrease in lines, but I notice something pretty scary. The area from the corner of lips going down toward the chin now look much more jowly than before I had the procedure. I had a lot of swelling and skin ablation requiring high doses of Prednisone after the procedure, so I am worried it stretched the skin out, and this is the result!?
I had a Halo laser four weeks ago. Now my face has a tiny pin prick appearance. My pores on my nose is much worst and my chin looks like a dried up orange peel. Will this go away? I'm starting to regret this procedure. My face gets worst everyday. What can I do to fix this? I'm so disappointed.
I had a halo treatment done for extensive melasma 1 month ago. By day 7 it had almost all shedded and my new skin looked AMAZING! On day 9 I had a follow up and was put under the omnilux light for 20min. After the treatment (within 5 min) by melasma areas were burning. The next day my melasma started coming back. Its now right back where I started, it's only been 4 weeks! Was the omnilux to blame? Derm now has me on a 5% HQ / Kojic acid compound fading cream - is this likely to help?!
