How to get rid of the rough texture and orange peel appearance after a Halo laser?

This occurs occasionally. Rarely (one in 20?) some people will have a lot of swelling and after that subsides the skin appears to have fine wrinkkles and decreased texture.  This will subside and collagen will grow. For now hydrate, and moisturize frequently. I prefer Cetaphil or CeraVe over the more expensive creams you might purchase at a medispa. 
If youd like, often a second Halo at a lighter setting (300 microns, 10%) can dramatically improve this while you wait for collagen stimulation from the deeper setting to set in.

Thank you for the great question. It's difficult to tell what exactly is going on without seeing you in person. I've found that many patients feel the same way you do around 4 weeks after the procedure. This is because it takes 10-12 weeks for the collagen to grow in a replace the areas which were damaged by the laser. When I see patients back at 12 weeks they are uniformly thrilled with the results. Recovery from Halo takes some time. Even though your skin has peeled, the body is still doing a lot of work under the surface rebuilding the skin. Be patient and I hope you end up loving your results!~Dr. Sieber

As above. Its not uncommon. Some patients get grids due to the erbium component, but this settles in time, an aggressive microdermabrasion at 4 weeks or even small laser beams via C and B 1927 Permea coupled with AHA after ( 5 days after), will help smooth out the face.
