I had the Halo laser procedure done 4 days ago. I live where it's winter (cold!) and would like to know if it's ok to go out for a short run with sunscreen. I still have a little swelling - mostly under my eyes and the flaking has started.
I have fine lines, wrinkles, some acne scars, sun damage and some loose skin under one eye. I'm interested in laser but am too afraid of the CO2 Fraxel. Just learning about Halo laser would it address these issues and does it actually tighten skin. Thanks in advance.
I am 36 and starting to notice some creepiness under the eye area as well as some fine lines. I have had one consultation so far and they suggested I use the Sciton Halo laser just around the eyes. I haven't seen any reviews on here for this specific laser for this specific problem, so I am wondering how effective it will be, especially in comparison to other lasers. I should note that I have tried Botox, which has slightly softened some of them, but not to the degree I am looking for.
I had a Halo/BBL/Scion laser procedure (under eyes) 6 days ago. I used the recommended Aquaphor for a couple of days then switched to Cetaphyl and Epionce medical barrier cream. I have so many areas of red, itchy, scaly, dry, patchy skin with milia and bumps - almost like a road rash appearance. The chin area is the worst as is my forehead. My dermatologist feels this is normal. Are there any other products/regimens I could try? I completed the ten day round of Mupirocin ointment and valtrex.
Got Halo, BBL and Botox for bunny lines all in one day. Have been back to the dr several times. Skin is breaking out like never before and I have these marks under my eyes. Is this permanent? How do I get rid of it? Dr wants to do Pico on it. Please advise. beyond devastated that I look worse and am so unhappy.
I had a Halo laser done 3 days ago. I wanted the laser to treat closer to my under eye area. Id like to know if this laser is able to get closer to under the eyes than appears in my photos. Perhaps my provider can redo this area? What is the general protocol for under eyes?
It's day 3, skin is thin there! I have severe edema on my face from Halo Pro by Sciton. Can the SEVERE swelling under my eyes (please see pics), cause permanent skin laxity once swelling is gone? It's day 3. I asked for intense trmt undereyes, as skin is crepey there. I'm on prednisone, benadryll, Avene after care kit, head on 2 pillows (30 deg each night), icing. I'm so worried about my under eyes!
Hello, I am 23 and am noticing several signs of aging I did not expect for several more years :( I have lines under my eyes when I smile, forehead lines, neck lines, and creases from lying down etc on my chest that don't disappear. I look young but my skin looks old :( I want to get started on laser treatments to prevent aging more on top of my skincare regimen. Am I too young for these lasers? Which works best for PREVENTION if I was to have a session yearly to keep on top of aging? Thx:)
I had Halo laser around 8 months ago and since the procedure I have had shadowing develop beneath my eyes as well as little veins/capillaries become visible beneath one of my eyes that was not there prior. Settings used: Ablative:100 microns. Non ablative 500 microns. Density 30%. Could this have been too aggressive setting? How can I correct safely? Would love to hear from an Occular Cosmetic Surgeon. Are these lasers safe for use around eye? Can they damage Meibomian glands ? THANKS!
