I have fine lines, wrinkles, some acne scars, sun damage and some loose skin under one eye. I'm interested in laser but am too afraid of the CO2 Fraxel. Just learning about Halo laser would it address these issues and does it actually tighten skin. Thanks in advance.
Answer: Halo vs. CO2 Hello Gina! Either Halo or CO2 laser options would work very well for resurfacing the face. This will improve superficial sine lines and wrinkles. Acne scarring requires a little bit deeper of resurfacing, which in hand comes with more downtime. However, multiple treatments will improve the appearance of scarring. Depending on your skin type (how dark your skin tone is), HaloPro might sound like the option for you as settings are very customizable for each area of the face you are looking to treat! PS. any time that you are resurfacing the skin, and causing the body to generate new cells, you will have some tissue tightening!

Answer: Facial Rejuv -- PRP, Laser (Fraxel/Halo/Co2/moxi), emeragecosmetics COSMELAN ENLIGHTEN/ EMERAGESKIN AERIFY for the eyes you need co2 or plasma pen or erbium. halo is great for face and neck (see my IG videos for tight and bright) at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (EmerageSkin roller with anteage AERIFY MD ampules weekly, see link) should be started now to prevent further aging. For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach of 1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling 2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors 3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant or moxi regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/halo Viva, Co2/Erbium 4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill 5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting 6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest 7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8/pixel8 for tightening of the skin 8) Vascular laser like vbeam/excel V or BBL forever young treatment every quarter (3-4 months) Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Halo for wrinkles and sun damage Hi there and thank you for your interest in the Halo treatment! The Halo fractional laser is a great treatment to deal with sun damage and loose skin, such as fine lines and wrinkles. I would recommend you find an experienced provider so that they can choose the settings that will work best for you. It’s likely that you may not be able to correct all of your issues with one laser treatment. But you may choose to first address sun damage with your first Halo, and then repeat a Halo treatment in about a month targeting fine lines and wrinkles. Healing with the Halo laser it is much better as compared to the Fraxel laser. You’ll only have about a week of some redness, swelling, and peeling. Hope this helps!
