I had no complications, no rashes, no breakouts post Halo, just a little milia, MENDS & peeling. I've had increased redness my 4th week out, I had not experienced that the previous 3wks, only the Halo glow. Intermittently this redness occurs now. Just curious if this is common. Across checks and bridge of nose.
Im 43- fair to medium skin tone. 5 weeks after Halo laser Im still red/ brown with lots of hyperpigmentation appearing. Was on prescription cortisone cream for 2 weeks but it gave me bad acne. How will this persistant inflammation affect me long term? Im scared. Ive always been diligent with my skin and Im so sad. How should I be treated now? Whats the best/worst I can hope for? Please advise me.
Had Halo Fractional Laser on 12/08/17. It is not 01/10/18 and my skin is still prickly, itchy and red, like someone put insulation on my face. Can barely put warm water on it. Still feels burned. it is over 5 weeks. I am 63 years old. Is this or can this be normal?
I had the Halo procedure my first time a month ago and at first I didn't really notice a diffrence? But today I woke up to a very smooth appearance and brighter look to my face. So how much longer will I continue to heal after my procedure because some areas of my face are still tender?
I had a halo treatment done for extensive melasma 1 month ago. By day 7 it had almost all shedded and my new skin looked AMAZING! On day 9 I had a follow up and was put under the omnilux light for 20min. After the treatment (within 5 min) by melasma areas were burning. The next day my melasma started coming back. Its now right back where I started, it's only been 4 weeks! Was the omnilux to blame? Derm now has me on a 5% HQ / Kojic acid compound fading cream - is this likely to help?!
I am 33 years old with light olive toned skin, I have some freckles as well as melasma above my upper lip and checks. I have since been advised that I need to undergo 2-3 BBL treatments and an additional halo fractional treatment in five weeks. I am concerned I am not being properly advised and this course of treatment may worsen the condition. I have been going to a cosmetic surgery practise although a technican has been treating me and I have never been seen or reviewed by the surgeon.
