I have MPB (hairline) and took Finasteride for 2 years. A Trichoscope exam suggested Telogen Effluvium, which confuses me as I didn't experience significant shedding. 3 months later, I had a hair transplant with a different doctor who noticed some miniaturization in my donor area. I'm 37 years old and wondering if this is normal. Seeking expert insights on the Trichoscope results regarding miniaturization. Is my donor area safe? My hair has always been thin, wavy, and fine.
Ive had two hair transplants totaling $22k and 2700 fue grafts to the corners of my hairline. The first one was really bad, and the second one isnt looking much better at 8 months out. The density is really thin and patchy. Im 29 years old and am really upset and confused as to what to do next? Do I get a third transplant? My doctor said I have at least 2500 grafts left.
I had a hair transplant a few years ago along my frontal hairline and temples it has been mostly ok for a few years but now my hair is getting incredibly thin and I feel the transplanted hair is falling out too. What can I do about it? Are there any medications or treatments that can help or is it a lost cause and the follicles are dead forever? Very worried and self conscious
Okay, so I recently cut off my long hair and lately I have been paying a lot of attention to my hairline. I've always had a big forehead since I was a kid and very thin hair. But I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is balding or just a hairline that some men have. Hopefully the smart doctors here can fill me in
I am 30 year old and I have done hair transplant before one year my hair transplant results look thin. Doctor told me we have implanted 4800 grafts but results look thin. Now I want to go second session how many grafts is required?
Hey, it's been 8 months since my surgery, and the hair grew a little bit but it's still looks like I'm bald, because it's still thin.. so how much time am i going to wait until the whole hair grows. Thank you!
Hi, I had HT of 4200 follicles 45 days ago, I feel my donor area still not looking well and got some very thin sites especially at the boundaries of the donor area.. I have shaved my hair and it looked better, however, whenever the hair gets longer the donor area becomes very noticeable.. My photo is attached here (before shave- day 30) (after shave - day 45).. is that normal? How long it needs before it looks again as before?
Hair transplants for the eyebrows- can we get hair to grow somewhere where there never was hair loss or damaged follicles? For example- someone with naturally thin/sparse hair and eyebrows can get thicker, wider eyebrows? Eyebrows were never overplucked, have no scars to fill in. We have thin hair in our family and eyebrows are no exception. Transplanting hair there can give me a more desirable shape along with a more heavy brow. Can we create hair growth in naturally hair-free follicles?
I had a hair transplant 9 months ago and it looks ok in pictures ut close up its has big gaps and is still very thin just want to no can more hairs come through at 9 months ive been told i am a slow grower and that could be the reason
