Can we do hair transplants to places where hair never grew to begin with?

Question

Hair transplants for the eyebrows- can we get hair to grow somewhere where there never was hair loss or damaged follicles? For example- someone with naturally thin/sparse hair and eyebrows can get thicker, wider eyebrows? Eyebrows were never overplucked, have no scars to fill in. We have thin hair in our family and eyebrows are no exception. Transplanting hair there can give me a more desirable shape along with a more heavy brow. Can we create hair growth in naturally hair-free follicles?

It is most certainly possible to transplant hair follicles to new areas, even if the existing hair is sparse as you described. Many of the eyebrow transplant patients opt for the procedure due to similar reasons as yours.  To give the brows soft density and better definition, the Intelligent Punch (Dr.UPunch i) can be used to safely remove follicles from other parts of the body with desired thickness. Once new blood vessels form around these healthy grafts, they can grow the desired caliber of hair in the brows, even if these regions were sparse or non existent to begin with.

In general you can probably implant hairs to anywhere on the body even in areas where there was never hairs to begin with.

Yes.  Hair grafts can be placed in areas,  like the brows,  that naturally did not have dense hair.  As long as there is good circulation and the patient is in good health and not a smoker,  the take is excellent.

As I joke, I would tell people that if I put a hair on the end of your nose, it would grow out to the length of a pony tail, but it is really not a joke for if one was to do that, it would grow out to a very long hair. Transplanting hair requires careful strategic planning and should always be done by an expert
