I have milia all over my face from my forehead and jawline and my chin. I've been to multiple derms and they all they that it's milia. I've been on accutane, tretinon 0.1 and use Salicylic acid and they wont budge. I've been told they cant be extracted since they're so shallow. They tried hyfrecation on me but they still didn't go away and the bumps are still there. I wonder if fraxel would be the right option for me? If not, what else can I do?
I find the use of topical treatments (Efudix) etc quite intrusive and protracted in terms of repair. I am considering Fraxel Laser, but am not convinced its the right treatment for actinic keratosis. But is patently good for photo damage. SA dermatologists do not appear to have sufficient product experience to endorse with real confidence. Will Fraxel Laser work for this condition?
I'm a 21 yr old female. I'm a quarter Native American so I can tan easy but ultimately and am white. I don't burn too easy either as it takes various days in 90+ degree weather to burn (with no sunscreen). My concern is the acne spots and then even some bumps and divots I have on my back. I have had scars since I started to break out about 8 yrs ago at most.
I had dual Fraxel via the Thulium Laser. There were many things wrong with this overall experience. First of all, after the procedure I left the office without having any post treatment balm applied to my face. She told me to put it on that night, so my face was red and tight all day without moisturizer. The following two days I applied the gel balm to my face which I believe gave me the pimple-like bumps. Its been a week and my face is still pimply and they itch. The bumps are red, not white.
I am desperate. 3 months ago I had lip injections. I had hyluronidase conservatively, twice after. My problem stems from the Juvederm creating major puffiness outside my lips and an unnatural look when I talk or smile. Im exhausted by this, I dont want to leave my house. When the light hits my face theres all kinds of weird lines and bumps not making it smooth like before. Why am I puffy above and outside my lips 3 months later? Had a laser center tell me fraxel 1540 might help break it up?
I seem to have developed an allergy to my face wash that I've been using for months. Suddenly after my fraxel dual procedure I cannot use it, I get small red bumps all over my face. This was the only face wash that worked for my acne/dry skin before the procedure which was 4 weeks ago. What should I do? Is this just my skin being extra sensitive after the procedure? How long until it goes back to normal?
I had fraxel 1550 abit over 2weeks ago. Around the 4th day after the procedure I developed tiny little bumps ever where hundreds of them you can only see in some lighting but to touch skin feel very rough and bumpy. I told my docter and has put me on a steroid tablet for 3days and am on Keflex antibiotic in case of any infection. Nothing has resolved yet I'm very worried and wanting some advice on what it could be or what I can do.
I had my first Fraxel restore treatment, I have bronzing on my face and I see some bumps starting to form. Can I use the vinegar and water treatment to help with the bumps? How long does the bronzing last? Also I see the holes from the Fraxel laser will they heal and disappear? Will the rough texture also go away?
