6/23 I had a rhinoplasty/ neck define / chin implant done. Neck define is submentoplasty, along with FaceTite. I swelled up big. The drains did not work and he cut my chin incision a week later to drain me. This went on for a while / he left that open for months. Eventually the implant failed and he cut it out. By October he had given me steroids and cut the chin scar out. He stopped steroids. He finally gave me another round in May as I am still in pain. Is this pain and scarring permanent?
Hello and happy new year! I had a Facetite procedure to address double chin and to tighten up my skin. My surgeon says that I won't see results until three to six months post procedure, with more improvements happening up until a year. Searching the website, some plastic surgeons website state that 70% results occur within six weeks post procedure with minor improvements onward up until a year. Which answer is correct? Thanks!
I would like to know if this is a normal occurrence after this procedure or should I be very concerned. I unfortunately, do not have a phone that I can take pictures. The procedure was done last week and I wore dressings and a pressure garment until today. Dr took them off, told me I was really swollen and was going to prescribe a med for that. Not to see him for 10 days. Should I be doing anything to break them up?
I got the procedure done to hopefully help tighten my lower face because I have slightly chubby cheeks in the jowl area. I'm just a little worried because now I'm thinking maybe I should've just done the buccal fat removal instead? I was told at the surgeon's office that I didn't need to have fat removed and that Facetite should be enough to give me the results I want. What are your opinions?
I had facetite done on lower jowls and neck back in December of 2018. Its almost been six months and I am still mostly numb and cant smile like I used to. Additionally, I have skin patches/bumps under my chin too that seem loose still. My Dr is doing FORMA on me (10 Treatments) to help heal quicker but not being able to smile and feeling almost next to numb after six months is concerning. I do have a little more feeling than when I first had the facetite done, but I am worried this is permanent.
Hello, I had a buccal fat removal and FaceTite procedure to enhance my jawline and excess loose skin under my chin.It is day 5 after the surgery and I just noticed that my Dr only performed with one incision (under my chin) for the Face Tite when I thought he will do 3 incisions. Will the number of incisions for FaceTite will affect the result of the procedure? Thank you
I just had the Facetite procedure done on my neck/chin a couple of days ago. I've been wearing my head wrap 24/7 since, other than taking it off for a couple of minutes to clean and apply ointment. I can't help but notice that my neck/chin look really strange. skin is sagging ... A LOT. Will this bounce back? Its way worse than before and I'm starting to think I made a huge mistake will need a neck lift after this.
Hello! I am a 33 year old female who got facetite at 30.5 The first year, it looked great. But I slowly realized that by melting the fat towards the back of my jawline and focusing on just the jawline, he created an awful bubble effect in my cheek when I smile where the fat abruptly stops on my face. I wanted this treatment for lower facial fullness, not a sharper jawline. In a way, it had visually made my lower face fat look more prominent. I have a very low BMI, as An FYI.
