Hi, I am 37 year old female from Europe. I was born with a damaged nerve in my eyelid (what I have been always told) and had a lazy eye as a child. The lazy eye issue resolved itself in my childhood but the droopy eyelid remined. It used to be the worse after crying and when tired but now it is bad and very noticeable all the time. Is there a name for this condition? What are my options in terms of treatment? Is eyelid surgery the only way to fix it? Thank you.
i am 21 year old female, i have very fair skin and i live in the UK. I am looking for advice that might help me decide what procedures to consider for my eye appearance. I have several issues with my eyes, they are very unsymmetrical, there is too much space in between them. They are also very hooded which makes eye makeup hard. I feel my eyes look very small and my eyebrows also sit rather low which I feel adds to this. It also appears i have a lazy eye
I had several surgeries on my right eye, which was a lazy eye when I was a child, and it corrected my vision, but now it seems as I age that my right eye is appearing much smaller than my left eye, and is asymmetrical, and Id love to know if theres anything I can do to offset this in balance
Im 22 years old, i have astigmatism and a -3 vision. I have always had asymmetric eyes where my lazy eye (left) was always bigger, but in the last few years i think it grew a lot more where it became very noticible. Im very worried and insecure about it is there anything i can do to fix it?
31, male, 191cm, 83kg -hyears after I got pointed out I have a lazy eye by a friend, I cant stop thinking about it, even though I dont think I have a lazy eye, I do have face ascymmetry in my brow which affect my eye I guess, and its started to affect my everyday life, like avoiding eye contact and pictures, feeling very insecure, which have effect on my overall happiness
For some reason my left eyebrow and eye look smaller and my right eye brow seems more arched and my right eye looks bigger, I was told Botox could fix the uneven eyebrows but I'm not too sure. What can also fix my lazy eye? It's more noticeable when I smile. Can a plastic surgeon fix it or do I have to go see a ophthalmologist for that?
I'm scheduled for a consultation with an oculoplastic surgeon. My primary concern is strabismus, but I also have ptosis in the lazy eye and heavy eyelids. Is it possible to combine strabismus surgery with ptosis surgery? With a blepharoplasty?
