I have dark eyelids, it is particularly dark close to the lash line. Im not sure if its a vein or just discoloration. What procedures whether its lasers, fillers, resurfacing could fix this? I would like to know all the treatment options. Eyes crossed out in images for privacy purposes.
I have a very accentuated lower lash line, contributing to the asymmetry and bulky appearance of my lower eyelid. Besides that, I am struggling with very dark pigmentation underneath my eyes. What would be the best procedure/surgery? I am not sure that lower eyelid blepharoplasty would help in my case, since my assumption is that the bulkiness is coming from muscle, but would love ti hear professional opinion.
Hi I got my chalazion surgery about 7 months ago. After about a month I noticed that my eye shape changed. I had my chalazion located at the centre of my lash line and after the survey I noticed that my lash line became crooked and it lifted back. My lash line is no longer straight of aligned anymore. My eye looks more open now and I believe too much skin was removed because my eye does not close fully. My surgeon refuses to notice the difference
I have read online about lengthening the lash line after bad blepharoplasty. A CHEL(?) procedure I believe it was called. My eyes are shorter, rounded, look unnatural, lower lid pulls down, scleral show etc. Is this a procedure that is performed by most oculoplastic surgeons? I also have other issues with my eyes that needs to be corrected, but I am looking into my options and being really careful with choosing a surgeon and surgery options.
I developed two styes about 4 years ago, one grew on the inner corner of my right eye lid, the other one was on the outer corner of the left. After popping the left one within the 2nd day, my parents forced me to see a GP about my right one. After about another 2 days of using hot compress, no squeezing and rest, the right stye went away. But not completely and now I'm left with what appears to be scarred tissue on the right side and it's making my inner lashes point downwards and inwards.
I have read of two different ways to remove the fat pads from under the eye, one goes from inside the lid the other externally. what is the difference and why chose one over the other - any insight to advantages, disadvantages or reason why to chose one over the other would be greatly appreciated
Significant swelling has subsided, I know my eyes will still deswell more with time, but I'm really worried about the unnaturally high crease. Makes me look like a different person. Is it possible to revise crease to a lower more natural crease? Maybe bring the crease down to 5mm?
This is a follow-up to my previous question. I forgot to mention that the eye having the twitching still has numbness along the lash line. The other eye has no twitching, and the numbness is almost completely gone. This was an upper blepharoplasty.
