Hello. I underwent 3 treatments with the Excel V for minor telangiectasia and redness on nose area. My provider suggested 3 treatments initially, but the redness and veins - albeiet faded since the first treatment - are more visible than I would have expected at this point. My concern is that the settings might not perhaps be strong enough during treatment. Following the last treatment, I had no temporary redness or swelling at all. Should I get another opinion? My suspicions are looming.
I'm having Excel V laser treatment to reduce global redness on my face. What is the best antihistamine to take in order to reduce redness and swelling post treatment? Also, my dermatologist recommended I apply Skinmedica TNS recovery complex for two weeks after treatment to ensure blood vessel absorption. However I'm interested in an alternative recommendation for a post treatment cream or serum? Thanks in advance!
I have struggled with rosacea and redness my entire life. I would like to know any possible negative effects of multiple sessions of Excel V laser to reduce global redness? I've had a horrible experience with a laser before that was used to remove veins on my nostril but left me with a laser burn and now a pigmented, divot scar... so I am extremely apprehensive to have more laser work done but I'm anxious to reduce my redness and raise my confidence!
Ive had 4 Excel Laser V treatments for redness- Before & after photos show no improvement. Ive swelled significantly after each Tx so not an issue of it not being turned up enough.Today my Dr told me if its not working shes not going to continue taking my money. I did a series of IPL treatments years ago, and use SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic serum in the AM and Skin Science AlphaRet night cream now. Is there anything else I can do for the redness if the XLV didnt work (laser, peel...?)
My Dermatologist suggested this for my neck and chest for diffused redness. She suggested I do my face too because once neck and chest are done facial readiness may be more noticeable. The price is 1000 which I am ok with but what questions should I ask about laser strength when going from head to neck and chest The neck reddness came after an Ipl treatment i had years ago. Is this a good solution?
Two days ago I underwent my first Excel V treatment for telangiectasia, which was fine. After the procedure (first of 3), my dermatologist discussed also considering Fraxel laser for some acne scarring, enlarged pores, and general redness. I would have my first Fraxel treatment two weeks from now. Then, my *second Excel V treatment* about two weeks after that. My question: is this normal? She assured me it's fine to intersperse the two procedures with one another, but it seems odd to me.
Prior to the laser I had mild redness on cheeks, nose and chest that would flare occasionally but not bad at all. I had the opportunity to do full face and chest Excel-V treatment but now I wish I hadnt! Its been 2 weeks and my face and chest with flare up super red out of now where and my face will itch. Did I just make my rosacea worse or is my skin just oversensitized and will settle down after a few more weeks?
Hi: I would like to know if the Vbeam Perfecta or the Excel V would provide better results in clearing Keratosis Pilaris Rubra (facial redness without papules)? I read online that the Excel V absorbs redness five times greater than the Vbeam, making the Excel V the new gold standard for treating red vessels. I am considering either laser and want to be treated with the laser that has the best chance of improving the redness given the challenge of clearing KPR. Thanks for your feedback.
