Hello, I'm hoping someone can help. I have broken capillaries on my cheeks and one on my nose. The ones on my face are matted. I went to a dermatologist and her medical aesthetician did a BBL treatment. I returned 3 weeks later for a 2nd treatment, but since no improvement, went with Excel V. Then 6 weeks later had ExcelV #2 (7J, 10mm, 10ms), then #3 (7.4J, 10mm, 8ms), then #4 (8.4J, 10mm, 8ms). Don't know settings for #1 or 2. Med aesthetician did all treatments. Has over 20yrs exp.
Hello. I underwent 3 treatments with the Excel V for minor telangiectasia and redness on nose area. My provider suggested 3 treatments initially, but the redness and veins - albeiet faded since the first treatment - are more visible than I would have expected at this point. My concern is that the settings might not perhaps be strong enough during treatment. Following the last treatment, I had no temporary redness or swelling at all. Should I get another opinion? My suspicions are looming.
Im a 22 year old male with type 1 rosacea. I'm considering getting Excel V done to alleviate redness and flushing but I don't want it to impact my facial hair growth in any way. Also, I am concerned about recovery- I am a college student and will be returning to classes where I have to present 3 days after the treatment. Should I be worried about appearing excessively red/swollen?
I have tried sooooo many different treatments and products but nothing seems to work! I get hot flushes all the time and my red scars appear more visible when that happens. I still look like I have acne! How can I treat this? Is Excel V effective for this? Ive bought so many different skin care, from retinols to alpha arbutin, you name it! Ive done facials, laser facials, why is nothing helping? I regularly wear SPF too.
Hello, I'm interested in vascular laser treatment for rosacea Type 1 (redness/flushing only). My skin is delicate and sensitive (porcelain skin). Can you advise which is better in this case: Cutera Excel V or an IPL treatment with the 590 filter? (and is the latter basically the same thing as V Beam?) Thank you so much.
Hello there, Im a 32 year old male wanting to address facial redness caused by flushing. My face is generally on the pink to red side. No Dx of rosacea. Fitzpatrick skin type 2. I believe Ive narrowed down my search to 3 best options. Excel V+, VBeam, and BBL. I would greatly appreciate expert opinions on which might be best or other options. Thanks for your time. Sincerely, B
Hello I developed a very small broken capillary after using a steroid product on my upper lid. It's very small. I don't know if I will go away, I just noticed it after using steroid tape for one day so I stopped using the steroid. I wanted to know can I use cutera excel v or another laser for this one small broken capillary if it doesn't go away? It's on upper lid.
I had vascular occlusion 1.5 years ago from filler in my nose tip. The discoloration (red and purple) will not go away - Ive tried several lasers and none have worked (including PDL and Excel V). What could possibly work? Im desperate for a solution - this has marred my appearance so much and the discoloration fluctuates daily especially in response to colder temperatures. In warm weather it gets better, though not entirely. Any suggestions?
