I received 40 units in the middle area of my forehead in November, everything was fine but then I went for check up a month later and my doctor convinced me to get extra 10 units above my brows, since I still had some movement in that area. After that I slowly started feeling changes in my brows, tingling and numbness around my eyes and temple area. My brows went completely straight no arch also my forehead got completely flat and stretched like 2 cm. Could it be permanent?
I'm 6 weeks post Dysport injections to my glabella and forehead. I am starting to have 50% more movement and also some tingling and numbness in the area once a day. Just this evening after leaning over to put the sheets in the bed I stood up and looked in the mirror while having tingling in my forehead and I had two very large lumps on my forehead. I held my hand over them and relaxed my muscles and tilted my head back and they disappeared. What could cause this and should I be alarmed?
monday 12/11 I saw a dermatologist for dysport, now 4 days later my left side of my face is not only numb but my cheek twitches and my eye lids are so heavy and droopy! she didn't use a nerve blocker. She frantically pricked my face all over Dr also told me the downside to not having forehead wrinkles is droopy eye lids? I cannot even put on mascara she gave me dysport in my chin and now my chin looks chunky and uneven! I have had botox for 6 years and this has never happened! :(
70 units in forehead and center of brows. Love the look, but stiff neck 11 days later. Not completely numb but to touch back of neck, throat, and entire back feels somewhat like what it did when I an epidural and it was wearing off? please advise
Two days after dysport had flu symptoms: fatigue, headache, nausea, weakness. The headache lasted for two weeks. I had a severe dizzy spell, and lost my ability to walk without falling left. I went to the ER had MRI, cat scan to neck and head. Two days later I had numbness in my right leg. Went to the ER for evaluation and an MRI of the spine. All tests negative. I developed severe low back pain. My PCP believes this is a reaction to dysport. I still have some pain and numbness. Can walk now.
I had major itching and facial numbness after Botox in my forehead. It lasted 3 months. 2 years later I had it again, without the problem but 3 months later was diagnosed with MS I had used Botox for years needing it only once or twice a year for good results up until that first problem.
