I have had upper eyelid surgery twice and both were botched. The former was done using the incision method and the latter using the non incision method. There are sutures buried inside. It's been a year since I have had my last surgery.. I'm considering of undergoing another revision upper eyelid surgery along with scar revision but I think don't have enough tisssus to be excxised...what will be the best solution for me?.....Thank you
I had double eyelid surgery over a year ago, but for some reason my inner eyelid is wider than my outer eyelids. It's like the exact opposite of a tapered eyelid, which goes from a narrow inner eyelid to wider outer eyelid. It's been over a year already, so I'm unsure if it's just because I have more swelling in my inner eyelids, or if the cut is even and I need a revision.
Ive had this small bump for a very long time, noticed it after I first start recovering. I had my procedure done 13 months ago. I havent seen my surgeon in 12 months. The bump doesnt hurt, it only bothers me aesthetically. Is it something I should have checked out? What is it exactly?
It's one year after my surgery and my eyes are still extremely asymmetrical. The right eye has now a desperate expression and I'm very unhappy. How can I fix it? Is there a way of making the right eye look like the left?
16 years ago I had preseptal cellulitis on the left upper eyelid. Once Ive recovered my eyelid looked different. I decided last year to undergo an upper eyelid blepharoplasty to make it look more normal. Its been exactly a year and not much has changed. The eyelid still folds on the old higher crease instead of the new surgically created crease which is lower. When i pull on my eyelid it does look normal but it only lasts for about a minute. Can this still be fixed?
I used to have tapered double eyelids that flared out at the end, but after double eyelid surgery a year ago, the doctor reversed my eyelid shape & made it very low at the end. Can this be reversed? 1. If the incision is cut very low and long past the eye, how can the crease become higher? Wouldnt that make my eyelashes and waterline evert up? 2. My overall eyelid area below crease is so much smaller. Can this be reversed? 3. Why is left eye crease loose & right deep and tight?
1 year post op. double eyelid surgery for symmetry. Results: Right eye shape is too round, crease too high (10mm) and very deep. Crease height is especially high in the inner corners of my eye. Left eye has a lump of extra skin at the outer corner. Scar on the incision line near the center of the lid. 9mm crease. Is it possible to lower the depth and height of the crease, especially in the right eye? My surgeon said theres not much he can do but Im very unhappy with how the shape/depth/height.
I did a double eyelid surgery (without upper eyelid fat removal) when travelling in Asia. Now it's been more than one and a half years after the surgery. However the double eyelid crease is still a bit high and thick and my eyes look puffy. This seems the final result since its been so long after the surgery. Should I go for a revision to make the crease lower and my eyes look less puffy? Will simply the removal of upper eyelid fat achieve the result? Your professional opinions are much appreciated!
I thought my double eyelids became triple lids because I had dry eyes and haven't been getting enough sleep. After a year now, I feel It makes me look tired and older. Is restylane my best bet to fix this?
Eyelids still look big and puffy after 1 year. I had blepharoplasty when I was 18. At first I thought they were gonna be natural as they recovered, but it has been more than a year now and my eyelids look swollen most of the time (I'm Asian). I have a hypothesis that the puffiness is caused by dry eyes? So I tried moisturizing them, and surprisingly they were a bit less puffy. My questions are: Will my eyelids get smaller as I age? If not, will a revision be worth it?
