Ive had a crown placed a while ago and I constantly feel it against my cheek. Its very irritating is this normal for crowns? Should I go back to to dentist and have them replace it? i constantly feel it throughout the day and unlike another crown I have which I do not feel at all. Its a zirconia crown.
A week ago I got my permanent crown put on,the temporary one caused me no problems. When i went to have my permanent one put on the dentist said it didn't quite fit so he filed down the tooth above it.Now i seem to have a problem with biting my cheek, would happen only once or twice a year but now it's a daily occurrence. If i tilt my head to the right i can bite up and down with no problem but if i tilt to the left i can feel a piece of my cheek in the way as i bite downward, how can this be fixed?
After the dentist placed a CEREC crown on my back molar 6 months ago, I have returned to their office 5 times for bite adjustments. The crown still feels large in my mouth. It rubs against my cheek, and my bite feels uneven. Since it hurts to bite down, I sought out a second opinion. At the second dentist's office I had an x-ray done. The second dentist filed down my crown some more. My crown is still not comfortable. My bite feels weird. What could be wrong? The adjustments are not helping.
Went to dentist yesterday to get a permanent filling and temporary crown after root canal procedure. The procedure was in the upper right side of my face. When the dentist is almost done with my procedure my cheek begins to swell pretty bad, especially on the bottom part of my face. Which is strange since the work was done on upper part of my face. Dentist could not explain why. Woke up today with same swelling. HELP!

My lower left rear tooth has had a crown for years. I have 3 other crowns and never had a problem like this. When I had the temporary crown for 2 weeks I had no problems. After a week I did go in and my dentist adjusted my bite. My jaw still hurts. My dentist made the comment that the top rear tooth normally cusps the lower tooth and mine does not. Is it possible that the dentist took too much off of the tooth before cementing it in?
