My lower left rear tooth has had a crown for years. I have 3 other crowns and never had a problem like this. When I had the temporary crown for 2 weeks I had no problems. After a week I did go in and my dentist adjusted my bite. My jaw still hurts. My dentist made the comment that the top rear tooth normally cusps the lower tooth and mine does not. Is it possible that the dentist took too much off of the tooth before cementing it in?

Answer: Jaw pain after rear crown ... #SarahThompsonDMD
There are some solutions, even when you the crown set , to make it look the same as the other, and this can make the tooth look really alike. if the options do not really satisfy you, you will definitely will need to re do again a new crown.
Crowns don't necessarily need to be bulkier than veneers. Is the dentist who did the crowns the same one who did the veneers? I would share your concerns with your dentist. They should be able to recreate a smile similar to your previous one.
The answer is a definite maybe. One solution is to find a doctor with a creative ceramist. The other is to find s Cerec specialist doctor who is up to the task of creating the illusion of two teeth on a single implant.
