Will taking an allergy medication such as Zyrtec or any anti-histamine prevent results from cool sculpting? I took my allergy medicine (generic over the counter) 2 days post the procedure and am am worried that it will hinder my results. I was told not to take any anti inflammatory medicines in the post procedure instructions.
I am 7 days out of having procedure done on lower and upper abdomen. Besides the pain, I have also had the worst gas. Could this just be a rare symptom that few get? Also, why is there mixed views as far as using anti-inflammatory medicines? I was told not to use as they may hinder results. I have been doing Tylenol, heat and now cooling pad as well as compression.
I would like to know if taking Celebrex would cause the inflammatory response that releases the fat cells after CoolSculpting to be less effective. I would like to have some form of treatment like CoolSculpting done on my upper arms and love handle area. I tend to bruise easily (even before taking the Celebrex), so I want to know if this would be safe. I'm also prone to Cherry Angioma spots and am fair skinned. What treatment would be best?
Must I suspend my migraine medication (Topiramate - generic for Topamax) or supplements (Magnesium) prior to and post CoolSculpting procedure? I understand all anti-inflammatory medications should be suspended before and after the procedure, but are there any issues with this particular drug or supplement used to prevent migraines?
