Ive gotten done RF microneedling (4), fat grafting, subscion (3), excision, moderate peels, microneedling, injections. So what else can I do to help these rolling scars look less visible? A mini facelift, c02 laser, dermabrasion? Im tired of hiding my face with my hair . What else can I do?
Where should I go from here? Ive reached out to the surgeon who performed my co2 laser. Its been a year and a half and all Ive received is its still healing. Not to mention this is all by email. He hasnt seen my skin in person. It is not healing still, now I have raised white grid lines all over my face, they are very obviously scars. I really want to stay away from lasers in the future for several reasons but is this something I can fix with deeper chemical peels? Is this even fixable?
I got the co2 laser done on 19th Tuesday and it is now its Saturday the 24th. My skin had peeled off but the skin underneath looks like sandpaper. I have so many indentations on my face now, It so textured and bumpy. From what ive seen when the skin comes off it reveals soft and smooth looking skin. Im worried that it hasn't healed correctly. Im scared the doctor who did it was careless and went too deep and its now going to cause scarring from all these indents. Is this normal?
I am on day 4 post op after full face CO2 laser resurfacing with fat grafting under the eyes and continuing all prescribed aftercare with Aquafor, dilute vinegar + water rinses, and light washing with dove soap. My skin continues to be swollen and very bright red, with no peeling in sight. It does feel very dry after mild cleansing, but I was told the skin would come off in brown sheets. Have you ever seen a patient that did not peel after this procedure?
I'm having C02 laser done just on upper and (mostly) lower eyes for crow's feet and fine lines. Will I need two weeks before I can go anywhere without looking bad? Other messages I saw said peeling doesn't start for 3-4 days and takes 7-10. I didn't realize there would be that much down time. I'm getting nervous and considering canceling it.
My skin peeled after 72 hours and feels like it might peel again. I had the fractional CO2 laser treatment on my neck and face 72 hours ago and most of the skin on my face has peeled already. My skin is still very red and I still see many dark spots on the new skin. The new skin is starting to feel tight, like it might peel again. Do some patients experience a double peeling of their skin? Will the spots fade?
Hi On the second day I started peeling a lot.. The skin under is really red. I only wash it at night and Im re-applying Aquaphor. but it stays then it melts almost (skin is hot) and turns into a bit of crusty.. I applied ice on the first night.. I think it made peel faster. should i use fucidin ongment before applying the Aquaphor? Is it normal that Im peeling that soon after treatment and liquid comes out..I dont think its puss ..??What about apple cider vinegar Thank you.
I had fractional co2 laser last 3 days. But after 6 hours of the procedure, Im using Face oil as moisturizer on my face. But at day 3, my skin just feel dry and doesnt much different and no peeling at all. Im very concern about it. Do I suppose to use Face oil? Or should I leave it? Thanks
I have done fractional Co2 yesterday on my face for pigmentatio & acne scars,my doctor recommended to leave my skine bare after procedure until my whole face peels off on its own, no vaseline nor aquafor,nothing at all. Only water pads.she said any moisturizer will delay and stop the peeing last timei had Co2 fractional in different Clinic and the dr used to prescribe MEBO for me immediately after procedure and until full peel 5 days. Is it ok to leave my skin bare to dry and peel off like this
I am 6 weeks post co2 laser and I'm very red with hyperpigmentation. I also have lots of breakouts, big pimples.I've been advised to use hydroquinone and retina a but I'm really afraid to put anything on my skin. And I feel like I have even more lines. He said he went deep but I never peeled or scabbed. I used aquaphor for 2 weeks per the doctor.
