I'm having C02 laser done just on upper and (mostly) lower eyes for crow's feet and fine lines. Will I need two weeks before I can go anywhere without looking bad? Other messages I saw said peeling doesn't start for 3-4 days and takes 7-10. I didn't realize there would be that much down time. I'm getting nervous and considering canceling it.

Answer: Periorbital resurfacing Although everyone heals differently, most fractionated CO2 lasers heal within 5-7 days. The most important things to remember is to follow your post laser instructions carefully, as this will ensure proper healing.

Answer: C02 around the eyes Great question. The length of downtime depends on the settings and your discussion with your provider performing the laser. Normally, downtime can be 7-10 days or up to 2 weeks however this has various factors such as: patient skin type, provider settings, and treatment plan. For any social event, I would recommend 3 weeks time to allow for proper healing. Yes, there is downtime however it's a great treatment for your concerns of crow's feet and fine lines. In our office we perform many C02 treatments specifically around the eyes. I recommend a consultation with your provider to further discuss your treatment plan and answer further questions to feel comfort. Best of luck!
