Can I leave my bare skin to dry and peel off after CO2 fractional laser procedure without moisturizer?

In my opinion it is best to use Aquaphor at least for the first 2-3 days followed by Cetaphil to continue moisturizing the skin.  This should be applied as often as you feel you need it.  The skin usually starts to peel off on day 2-3.  Moisturizing the skin helps with the healing process.
My patients have very excellent results with the above regimen.  And of course you have to add a moisturizer with SPF and apply twice per day even if you are going to be in doors.
