I am a male in my 50's and I have had surgeries to repair my cleft lip and palate issues, but, in regards to my upper lip, there is at least some muscle missing in my upper lip. My question is: Can any amount of missing muscle in the upper lip cause it to have a different appearance than it should have? And, can the missing muscle have an effect on the functionality of the upper lip? (such as puckering to kiss someone, or to form words when speaking). I'd appreciate any help.
I went to a dermatologist to inquire about lip fillers, and he said I should get lip filler guided by ultrasound and recommended me to a guy on the Gold Coast. I just want to know if its possible. I know I have lots of scarring, he is planning to numb the whole area and do something to loosen the scar tissue and then do filler.
Hello, I was born with a cleft lip. I have a slight deformity of the upper lip, especially in volume, but also in its position. That is, on the left side my lip falls abruptly and is curled upwards, and its lower part is directed unnaturally in the other direction. I hope this is visible in the photos. Is it possible to correct my upper lip, especially surgically? Thank you for your answer.

I'm 18 years old, and I haven't gotten my cleft lip and nose fixed, in result this has really affected my mental health and I tend to isolate myself at home because I'm embarrassed. What can I tell my doctors so they can speed up my treatment and I can have my surgeries quicker?
I had my last cleft lip repair surgery as a teenager 32 years ago. Now 47, I am wondering if I would be a good candidate for a revision. I would like to see my upper lip lowered enough so that my teeth are covered as much as possible. Also would like to reduce scarring if possible.
I am 20 years old and reside in Atlanta, Ga. I was supposed to have a third surgery completed at age 12 but was not able to. I now have an asymmetrical nose and the shape of my top lip is uneven with a small gap in the lip itself.
