I received a Clear and Brilliant treatment a couple of months ago and loved the results minus one area on my chin that appeared to have an open wound/scabbing/and drainage less than 24 hours after the treatment! I just wanted to know what happened? Provider/rep/and clinical team could not figure it out. No retinols/acids/medications used prior, skin was clean before treatment, # of overpasses were correct. Any guesses? I will attach a photo too.
Ive done 6 sessions of the Permea Clear and Brilliant for melasma. Looking at the before and after, my melasma has faded a little, but its minimal - especially given the price. Im curious if you recommend I keep treating monthly to see if the fading continues or if I should space them out longer to see if that helps?
This is the second time Ive had Clear + Brilliant done. The day after my first ever treatment my skin felt like sandpaper and was still a little red. With my second treatment my skin does not have any rough feeling and has barely any redness, which seems unusual since I was told they would be using a slightly higher setting the second time around.
i wasnt aware that my face would be peeling for a whole week after procedure. i did the procedure on tuesday @3pm and its now sunday 10am (full 5 days). theres still a lot of tiny brown scabs all over my face but if i rub or wash it, a lot would fall off. ive been avoiding sun and putting on a lot of aquaphor daily/night as instructed by my derm. i have an event to go to and am very tempted to remove it but afraid itll mess up my process. will i regret this terribly if i do?
I've just had one round of the Clear and Brilliant Laser which felt almost like a supercharged version of microdermabrasion. When I talked to the doctor that did it, he said that micro-needling wouldn't be necessary if I just kept with the Clear and Brilliant. It seems to me that micro needling and Clear and Brilliant work on different layers, is that right? Or am I just creating more work for myself?
I stupidly 2 days ago used self tanning drops with my moisturiser and had residual fake tan on my face when I went in to have clear & brilliant and my face felt on fire, burning. I'm worried this is going to permanently leave me with me with hyperpigmentation. I'm very fair skinned.
I'm so sad! I've been working for 8 months to restore my jaw line with sculptra! I lost so much volume along my jaw that my neck started to sag and i didn't have a jaw line. I had my 3rd treatment 2 weeks ago and was so happy, it was perfect. I got Clear and Brilliant done almost 2 weeks after my 3rd Sculptra treatment and that night I felt like my jaw felt different, like the volume went down by half. My neck felt and looked saggier. Thought it was in my head, but it's not... it 100% went down. Why?!
