Age 33 - I have a double chin I'm unhappy of. While I believe I may have a slightly recessed chin, jaw surgery is excessive, and a chin/implant or genioplasty would worsen my chin crease. What I dislike most is the little sagging pocket of fat (or skin?) directly under my chin, in addition to not having a jawline - unless I tilt my head up. Would chin/jaw/neck lipo benefit me? Or a neck lift or platysmaplasty? I'm aware individual anatomy affects outcomes. X-ray is attached.
I had chin lipo and platysmaplasty done over a year and a half ago. I have had 4 laser treatments on my scar which has helped soften if but I still have dog ears. My main concern is the skin sagginess. Im 34, my neck should not look like this! Are there any further treatments I can do to tighten that skin? Do I need a revision? Im nervous about a revision as my first recovery was not easy and I do have some scar tissue remaining under my chin.
Im starting to get a double chin (or is my skin sagging?) Im 34. I used to have a more angular chin in my early 20s which I really miss. I also work online so Im constantly seeing my double chin in video calls and I hate it. What can I do to have a more angular snatched in chin? Will a bit of lipo under my chin work on its own? Thank you (Last photo is me pulling in my chin/jaw to where I want it)
I currently have chin filler but it didnt help with my actual concerns. I was hoping the extra projection on my chin would pull the skin around my jaw and neck area more than it did, but Im still left with the sagging under my chin. I feel as if my face is lacking forward growth which is contributing to the problem, but Im not sure of any procedures to help with that. What could I do to get rid of this issue? Because I never really had issue with my chin, more so my jaw and profile.
At a normal BMI now but have always had this persistent double chin even as a child. My jawline is good but disappears if I look down. There is also a heaviness to my lower face (jowls) which I dont like. Am I candidate for submental & neck lipo or should I invest in getting a platysmaplasty or some type of lift? What about parotid/submandibular gland Botox? I dont want to get buccal fat removal or jaw Botox because it can age you and worsen jowls/lower face droopiness. Thank you.
I am an 18 year old male and would like to remove this sagging from under the chin. I have a weak side profile due to mouth breathing as a child, but one thing that bothers me is the lack of definition from the chin to the neck. I have little body fat and am young so i don't think it's a case of loose skin or excess fat so maybe it's to do with the muscles?
I have never had a defined jawline, but one side of my face is more saggy/ fat than the other and it really bothers me. I am unsure of the best procedure or treatment. My dermatologist recommended EVOKE treatment. I and am wary of liposuction or fat destroying treatments because I worry about the lost volume making my chin even more saggy and droopy. Any suggestions or thoughts on treatment?! I dont know what to trust and am scared of making it worse. Please help!
I had chin lipo done 5 weeks ago- she also did my jaw and neck area. Ive noticed since the procedure that the left side of my face looks larger and sags more than my right. Im worried that it wont even out since Im already 5 weeks out? She says it will- but I dont trust that shes telling me the truth I feel like shes just trying to dismiss me. Also curious is the lumpy/wavy area underneath my chin will smooth out or is it permanently lumpy?
