I am a 68 year old woman who had a chin implant about 8 years ago. I have lost weight since then and with age I see ripples and folds under my chin. I am interested in an under chin liposuction. Because of my age I do not want to have a face life. I need the best option without long surgerys.
I wore the bandage from the hospital for 2 days. There is a solid ripple under my chin that doesn't look right. I started lymphatic massages 1 week ago and it is starting to break apart into small round lumps. Is this normal and will my chin look smooth after a few months? I had the procedure done in Tijuana and I learned they don't provide the best after care instructions. I wear the chin strap at night. What should I be doing to smooth it out for best results? How long is healing?
Today was the first day since surgery Ive taken my chin strap off to take a shower and before putting it back on, I noticed this ripple or lump, whatever you want to call. Is this something that is to be expected or should I be concerned?
I had submental neck lift and lipo. I am a healthy, non smoker in my 30s. I have always been consistently at a healthy weight but always have had a weak chin muscle. Had a neck corset submental muscle lift and lipo. Only one incision under chin. I understand swelling and final results are still early to see but I am starting to be concerned at the uneasiness and the unsmooth area. Doctor said to start to message and its just normal swelling. Should I get a second oppinion and act sooner than later to get it checked out.
