Hello Houston20192019,It is normal to have swelling after an procedure. The fact you had a seroma indicates there iwll likely be more swelling which can create some contour issues. At 4 weeks out it is also normal to feel some firm areas and slight contour issues as a result of healing. However, the photos you posted show more contour issues than would be expected. I would recommend you follow up with your surgeon for evaluation. It is possible you may need injections to minimize the risk of those forming permanent scars and dimples in the skin.I hope this helps and good luck.
The pictures you've shown are not typical. Some dimpling or uneven contours is common early after liposuction. But for weeks things should be getting a little bit better. I typically tell patients that six weeks is a good time to judge results but three months is more realistic for final results. I have no idea how your procedure was performed. I'm guessing perhaps it was done using a VASER or it was done in a fairly aggressive nature. When to much fat is removed it can leave contour irregularities that are very difficult to correct. The correct treatment for having excessive liposuction is not revision liposuction. I suggest waiting six months then consider getting a second opinion by a senior board-certified plastic surgeon. Some providers may recommend massage, radiofrequency treatments and other modalities. I personally don't think they will make that much difference especially in comparison to giving yourself enough time to heal. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Almost everybody gets a hard lump he texture of their tissues after liposuction. These are not at all necessarily swollen lymph nodes but areas of inflammation. This typically improves over the next month. It would've been nice if your doctor explained this process. Some people may rec...
I find that VASER liposuction in combination with ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis or Coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with...
