Hello, I am 2 years post facelift and chin liposuction. I have unevenness or asymmetry under the right side of my chin. It sort of looks like a lump or a left over fat pocket. I am worried that this could be also skin. This asymmetry was present from the first month post op. Unfortunately my plastic surgeon retired 4 months after I had this suregry so I have no one to go back to. Can you please give your opinion on what you think this it is?
Im mid 40s and had chin lipo 10 mos ago. I ended up with bad swelling and hard lumps immediately after surgery. I was told to do hard massages everyday and have been doing so this entire time and still wear a chin strap at night. The lumps were huge on my right side. Theyve gone down in size 80%, but not much change in the past 2 mos. Im open to more surgery, but prefer non surgical options. I meet with the surgeon who did the lipo next month for a follow up.
Ive had chin lipo and now after 8 years Im still all in dents and lumps, my chin is uneven and it hangs under my chin like a kangaroo bag is this even fixable? I Please help because Im really depressed about it but afraid to go for another surgery because of this botchiness :(
Hello, I have a lump under my chin that doesn't seem to be fat but maybe muscles. I have also noticed that the bump increases in size when I press my tongue hard against my palate. I would like information on what this could be and what type of healthcare professional I should consult to get an accurate diagnosis and determine the best treatment option. I am under 25 and i'm athletic and lean enough to have visible abs. Note: tongue posture is up.
I had chin lipo done 6 months ago, and I noticed hard lumps on the left side and under my chin. I also have neck bands when I tilt my head. My surgeon said that these will resolve naturally on their own, but I'm getting worried that they are not going away. Are there any other options to make these lumps go away other than wait? If they do not get better, what can I do? Photos attached.
I have a pocket of fat which is generic under my chin and around my jaw, I have no jaw definition and I have fat under my chin. The only cosmetic procedure I've ever wanted done on my face has been chin liposuction but I am scared of risking having an exposed platysma or lumpiness. How common are these risks and what can I ask my surgeon to do to prevent these risks? What other important questions should I ask my surgeon? Thank you
I wore my compression garment almost 24/7 for the first 3-4 weeks and every night two weeks after. My plastic surgeon has injected kenalog on this lump 5 times now. It gets a bit softer then gets hard again. Some fluid was aspirated one time and only a small amount two times after. I did used to massage it now it's too hard to massage with my fingers. My surgeon says he doesn't know what's wrong and he's never seen this before. What should I do to get rid of this lump? Revision? More steriod?
I had liposuction of the chin and neck August 2018 and have had this semi hard/soft lump that looks almost like a double chin however it never goes away no matter how much weight I loose. I also have little to no feeling in the area.
I had chin liposuction 2.5 weeks ago. I've been to the surgeon he says the symptoms are normal but I would just like a reality check. My neck area is extremely stiff, lumpy, hard and numb. I am wearing the head band most of the day and all evening but am going back to work on Monday. For how long do I still need to wear the band in the evenings? I am massaging the area once a day in the bath for about 10-15 minutes. Is that enough? Tx
