I wore my compression garment almost 24/7 for the first 3-4 weeks and every night two weeks after. My plastic surgeon has injected kenalog on this lump 5 times now. It gets a bit softer then gets hard again. Some fluid was aspirated one time and only a small amount two times after. I did used to massage it now it's too hard to massage with my fingers. My surgeon says he doesn't know what's wrong and he's never seen this before. What should I do to get rid of this lump? Revision? More steriod?
I had chin lipo done 11 weeks ago now. Wore the compression garment 24/7 the first 2 weeks, then about 15 hours a day for the next 3 weeks. At 2 weeks I began doing 45 minute deep tissue massages. I had very bad scar tissue that has improved but this deep an ridge isnt improving anymore.
I had chin liposuction about three months ago and am unhappy with the results. I still have a noticeable pocket of fat under my chin, and am finding it difficult to tell whether it has improved from before to immediately post-op to now. I gained about three kilos since my surgery - would that have affected the result? I am only 21, and I was born with the fat in my chin. I am an average weight person otherwise. If I lose the weight will that resolve the result?
I had chin lipo 3 months ago, my ps told me that it would take about 3 months to see my final results but it seems like i still have some double chin left and that little bit left feels hard and somewhat swollen and achy. Is it still heeling? Is this my final result?
I'm just over 3 months post-op on a chin implant and lipo and I have this dimple in the middle of my neck, see blue arrow. Also one side of my lower neck is still bigger than the other, it's the area with the shadow, marked with green arrow. My surgeon says dimple likely caused by a burst blood vessel and will fill back in and other part is swelling. But I'm worried given how much time has passed and they're still there and I'm wondering if anybody else can weigh in? Did he mess up? Thank you!
I had liposuction on my chin/jaw line, and there is still a good few centimeters of either fat or skin behind my chin that was suppose to be gone. There's a chance it could just be skin, so could the skin still continue to tighten up after three months? I only had a little fat removed, plus I'm only 23 so my doctor told me I would have no problem with this since my skin is elastic. I read somewhere that the best results come at four months, is this true? Is there anything I can do to help?
I am a 28 year old female. I had a chin implant as well as neck/chin liposuction done 3months ago. The results aren't what I thought they would be. The implant improved the definition from the side but I still feel like my face looks chubby. I cant tell that I had lipo at all. Does it take a long time for the skin to tighten or is this the final result?
