Hello, I am an african american female with severe scarring on buttocks due to complications with folliculitis and picking. In the past I have used hydroquinone 3 % and hydroquinone 4% and it didnt lighten the marks much. I have heard getting a laser treatment would help, but I know it can be difficult finding the right laser for someone of my complexion. I would like to know what is the best laser for people of color . What other treatments should I try chemical peels and or microdermabrasion?
Hello, I got a chemical peel and about 3 days later I started to pick at it and it became really irritated. Im on day 4 now and have seen the skin where I picked at became so much worse! I am horrified. I am not sure how to fix this. Please help!!
I did a chemical peel at home on my armpits. The chemical peel is a mixture of TCA, glycolic acid and lactic acid. The person who sells this claims that it's epidermal peel. On the first day the skin started to peel, it seems I picked flacking skin before it was ready and ended up with red skin for 2 days. Now it's my 3rd day and it's a little bit darker than my normal skin tone. I've been using petroleum jelly. Is this going to be permanent? I'm desperate and depressed ):
I applied Perfect Derma Peel at home Tuesday and then after a few days skin began to loosen and come off I did pull some that was loose. My face is red and tight now, a little soreness when I wash it, but seems to be healing Does every case of picking end up with hyperpigmentation or scarring? In photo I have after peel moisture and mineral spf on face
Hi, I did Vitalize peel on Monday, now it is Friday and yesterday I picked my peel. Now the skin continued to peel, but there is a clear distinction between where I picked (red) and where I didn't. Please tell me what to do not to get this worse. I'm using Effaclar H (La Roche Posay) and Panthenol Emulsion. What kind of behavior do you recommend now after I did the damage? (e.g. use some product, not go in the sun at all...) Thanks!
