Wide face, close set eyes - any surgeries to address this?

Male 26, looking for solutions to having a wide face but close set eyes. Has been a significant concern of mine for my entire life. I have normal IPD which would suggest normal eye distance, although my eye separation ratio is 0.41 as a result of a wide face. Unfortunately this is something I do no wish to continue having and will do anything to fix it. I see a psychologist although it does not help my self esteem. I have my hair long an in curtains to cover the discrepancy Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Please know that your feelings are completely valid.
You have already identified the core issue perfectly: your eyes are not actually close together (you have a normal IPD), but the wider "canvas" of your face creates an optical illusion that makes them appear that way.
While moving the actual eye sockets further apart (orbital osteotomy) is an extreme craniofacial procedure not performed for aesthetic reasons, we can absolutely manipulate the surrounding features to change the visual ratios of your face. Facial aesthetics is a game of millimeters and optical illusions.
Here is how we typically approach balancing this specific facial structure:
1. Elongating the Eyes (Lateral Canthoplasty):Since we cannot move the eyes outward, we can physically extend them. A Lateral Canthoplasty carefully extends the outer corners of the eyes horizontally. This makes the eyes themselves wider, which reduces the perceived empty space between the outer corner of your eye and the edge of your face.
2. Narrowing the Facial Width:If your face is wide in the lower or mid-section, narrowing it will instantly make your eye area look more balanced and prominent.
