Hello I have butt implants may 2020 & had constant seromas , at one point my incision got a bubble over it and popped open and was leaking insane amounts of fluid, for about a month , then it happened a month later. Then around January I noticed like indentions when I would push on my glutes and soon after a bubble appeared over it and was painful to touch and eventually popped. A nurse came everyday to pack. Then happened on other side.this time my implant was exposed.
Ive got 300ml intramuscular implants . One is higher than the other . The surgeon has proposed to re operate on that buttock cheek to resolve the drop off, that implant is too high . The opposite buttock cheek has a good result He proposes to open up the scar capsular pocket and the implant pocket and says gravity will do the rest . My concern is that then the implant will not fit snugly into the pocket as I believe it should? So risk of seroma, future displacement? Thanks
40 y.o. woman, 172 cm height. 56 kg. I was happy with my hips but lacked projection in my butt (side view). I had butt implants (round, smooth, sebbin, 360 cc, intramuscular placement). I had seroma in the right side (350 cc evacuated in 3 days, culture ngtve). I'm OK with the volume, but there is asimmetry. The contour of the implant is visible especially in left side, the lower part of this cheek not full. Room for improvement? I alredy had 360 lipo in the past for lipofilling of trauma wound
Hi, earlier on today fluid started pouring out of my incisions from where I had my bum implants.. I had my implants placed a year ago but they moved out the pocket so 2 weeks ago I had corrective surgery. The fluid is transparent yellow, straw like in colour and there is a lot of it coming out (little puddles) its been leaking now for a good 6 hours. I do not have a fever or feel unwell I also dont have any pain. Whats going on seroma / infection?! Im scared!
I think I might have over exerted myself too soon after surgery. I was told by someone ( not my surgeon ) that I should walk ALOT like as much as I can. So I would go on 1 hour uphill/downhill walks right after surgery. Now I am leaking a lot from my incision 2 weeks post op. Could I have possibly got seroma from it?
Hi! I had butt implants and implant removal in California. The drains were out yesterday and I feel i have a seroma. Unfortunately, my doctor is in california and I need someone in Nyc to drain the seroma for me. I am of course willing to pay.
I'm thinking about getting butt implants. However one of my fears are that the incision doesn't heal properly, seroma, etc. I want to know how to prevent. I want to know what can I do before surgery so that I could heal fast. Should I take certain vitamins ? Get on a certain diet ? Eat alkaline based foods? Etc
I had buttock implants placed 3 weeks ago. 2 weeks into it, I had a Seroma drained. I was doing just fine right before it. When will the sciatic pain down my left leg disappear? My butt also gets sore, sometimes with the compression garment? I am back at work and cannot take pain meds due them causing me to get drowsy but I need them for pain, what can I do to ease the pain but not take hard medications? I am on flexeril and naproxen now to treat the sciatica. Still on antibiotics for the seroma
I am 16 days after undergoing butt implant surgery and I regret it everyday. Everything was healing fine up to two weeks until the doctor said it was okay to sit down then, so I did, it became very painful to do so, next day I wake up and my butt is so sore. I had an appt that day and turns out I had a Seroma, Dr. drained it there and put me on antibiotics. Shortly after I got a fever, shakes, chills, he said he's doing everything right.. Seeing him today but this pain on my left leg is horrible
