I'm a healthy 28 yr old woman who got intramuscular butt implants and fat grafting to the butt in early Feb. Almost 4 months later there's still a painful hole in the incision draining a thin yellowish fluid. My PS has stitched the incision up twice, but it keeps on opening. He says he could try stitches again and believes dead fat is draining. No infection. Is this normal at almost 4 months post op, and what should be done about it? Should I go to another surgeon for a second opinion?
I had surgery back in 2016 in Colombia with one of the best over there. i had a complication, my wound wouldn't close. they did a second suture and didn't work. i had a nurse taking care of my wound twice a day. Today it open again, there is liquid coming out..once again I'm using DuoDerm. ER they send me home with Cephalexin my doc asked me to go back and have a ECG done, he says it may be a fistula communicating the implant with the skin so liquid can come out.... something like it.
did MRI AND ULTRASOUND ultra sound results: -Minimal subcutaneous collection is noted at midline-normal underlying muscle layer but have a lot of yellow liquid coming out. also had a fever , maximum was 38.2 but now max is 37.6 also, i panic when i let my mom clean from inside with beta-dine and fuicidine as it hurts a bit. What is the solution? Wound is not closing at all.
Please i really need an honest answer. Im having multiple mental break downs everyday. Im laying down for 37 days and not sitting or going out at all. My mother cleans the wound very well. I have a 37.8 fever for the past 37 days + took antibiotics for the past 37 days also nonstop. Yellow liquid came out 7 days ago , which is a month after . But right now just very little comes out and i still have a temperature of 37.8 . What is the solution and whats the cause of all that? Thanks
I can't go back to my plastic surgeon, I don't know how much longer I should wear the Faja. Faja is from the waist and two inches below my bottom. I'm in my sixties.Do I wear the Faja nightly from now on or do I continue to wear it everyday for the rest of my life? When may I start exercising for lower body? I don't want to reopen up the incision where implants were put in due a little bit of incision wound which now 98% closed. I had implants underneath the muscle and fat added because slender.
My stitches after butt implants busted open. Now I have a big open wound. My doctor makes me feel like I'm bothering him when I call, and says he can't restitch them and I should let it heal on its own. I feel like this wound is very big and deep and will take too long to heal on its own. Can I be re-stitched?
