Can an open wound be re-stitched? (photos)

Question

My stitches after butt implants busted open. Now I have a big open wound. My doctor makes me feel like I'm bothering him when I call, and says he can't restitch them and I should let it heal on its own. I feel like this wound is very big and deep and will take too long to heal on its own. Can I be re-stitched?

While we want to have a closed wound, closing them at this point may  lead to further complications. With an open wound it is technically "dirty" in the sense that there are contaminants and bacteria on it. Local wound care it often the best option.

Based on the pictures posted the wound need debridement, and thorough cleaning of necrotic tissue. This may expose the implants and the implants may have to be removed. The wound needs intensive care so as not to loose the implant. The surgeon may  be bothered BUT he /she was paid for the surgery and the after care and wound care is part of that. In my practice you would be seen twice a week for that, and hope to save the implants. At the present you can not close the wound with all the dead tissue. It will cause infection and loose the implants
