Hello I have butt implants may 2020 & had constant seromas , at one point my incision got a bubble over it and popped open and was leaking insane amounts of fluid, for about a month , then it happened a month later. Then around January I noticed like indentions when I would push on my glutes and soon after a bubble appeared over it and was painful to touch and eventually popped. A nurse came everyday to pack. Then happened on other side.this time my implant was exposed.
I think I might have over exerted myself too soon after surgery. I was told by someone ( not my surgeon ) that I should walk ALOT like as much as I can. So I would go on 1 hour uphill/downhill walks right after surgery. Now I am leaking a lot from my incision 2 weeks post op. Could I have possibly got seroma from it?
I am 2 months post op and my buttock implant incision still leaks fluid, today noticed hard lump a inch away from incision. Is that normal? I got my implants in a different country By board certified surgeon.
How can I take care of this issue to avoid further complications? Tomorrow I'll be 3 weeks post gluteal implants, yesterday my right cheek was hurting I thought was normal but today found my right incision from the same glute I was in pain yesterday leaking a bit of fluid and it has a tiny little hole to the bottom. My left hole drain still drains a little bit as well.
Regarding patients who state implants caused illness or auto-immune disease, can this happen by simply having an implant (breast or buttock) or is it only when they leak? What about the silicone rubber implants for buttock augmentation? Can these cause an effect? Or the cohesive gel buttock implants? Thank you
My incision opened on one side & won't stop leaking my doctor ask me to send pic but never got back to me I'm so afarid like it's been leaking Alot & a little I'm so nervous no one will answer one what to I do their are no plastic surgeon from my town I'm a emotional rollercoaster please help me I don't want get infection I keep it clean & bandage .. So I just went to the e.r. because my incision is still draining 1 1/2 months post op for intramuscular implants. My wound has been open the whole time, doctor took sutures out because incision wasn't healing due to leaking. He says fluid should stop eventually, but I am noticing it is blood not fluid. The e.r. did ct scan and said theres air around the implants due to the open incision (2 in L x 1 in W) e.r. doc says this can cause infection and to remove implants. My doc says keep them in? ?
