I had breast reduction surgery over a year and half ago. Healed well and overall very happy with my scars which mostly consisted of fine white flat lines. However, under each nipple I have now developed what I can best describe as a bubble. Currently the size of a thumb print. It looks like a blister once its popped and drained of its fluid. (not a keloid). My surgeon said its just poor skin quality? Why is this suddenly happening now? How can I treat it? Prevent it from getting worse?
I had my reduction at the end of June, and I still have dissolvable stitches which haven't dissolved yet and I have lumps along my scar lines because of that. My right boob has been hurting a bit and I just popped what looked like a pimple & a lot of pus & blood came out. I live 900kms from my surgeon so can't pop in to see him. Are these pimples/blisters normal??
I had a breast reduction going from a 34 double H to a 34 double-D approximately 3 months ago. I have all of a sudden developed a spot along the scar line around my left nipple. Previously on my right breast I had a dark pink spot that seemed soft and then turned into a scab which has mostly healed. I'm not sure if this is the same thing, as this look darker and similar to a blood blister. Is this common? Could the nipple be dying? Thought I was finally in the clear!
I also had a small white blister pop earlier today and it left a tiny hole. Is this a problem? I'm going to call my surgeon, I'm just not sure how soon I'll get an appointment *photos may be upside down. Sorry
Did a breast reduction and a roccection in local anasthic 1 year post op. Noticed bleeding from bilisters under the brasts after a few days and called the surgeons office. He told me I had a third degree burn. After 1,5 week the blisters turned hard and went black. I lost all feeling underneth mu breasts. He called me late one day and Said he wanted me to come in emideatly to remove all the black skin and so I did after work that day. enyone know what happend to me?
I had what seemed to be a blood blister appear 2 days after breast reduction surgery. The blood blister has since popped and I've been giving instruction to put perscribed antibiotic cream 2 times a day. I was curious to receive any opinions on what this may be and what the percentage might be of it healing on its own or needing medical attention? I was told a skin graft may be a consideration if it is not healing well. Thank you for your time and expertise.
I asked my surgeon waiting on a response. What recommendations would work to help healing. Maybe silvadene cream or santly to help the wound heal. I have been keeping the incision clean and changing the dressing. How often should I change the dressing daily or every other day. I am using steri-strips. I am 2 weeks postop procedure was on the 10/27
I just had a breast reduction almost two weeks ago. My doctor did a good job but hes not been very personable since surgery, and wont really respond to my questions and brushes me off. I know bruising is to be expected, but my skin is turning black. Its very hot and painful. When I called my doctor he didnt ask to look at it, but told me it was normal. I just wanted some other opinions, Im worried and not sure if I need to call a different doctor.
I really need some help, I've recently had a breast reduction I'm 5 days post op and noticed this blister like wound near my t zone incision and my surgeons office is closed today and tomorrow. This blister has been secreting red and orange like blood with virtually no pain but I'm worried it looks like it's gotten bigger. could it be the bra that I'm wearing is too tight? Should l be applying a cream of some type? So far I've been placing gauze in my bra on the wound.
I removed my steri strips and was taken aback by some of the incisions and stitching. During my follow up appt the tape was still on, so I hadnt seen the incisions yet. He told me I could remove the tape that day, and start the silicone sheeting immediately. Is this how everyones scars look at this point? Also, I have a few spots with a white stitch poking out that will not come out when I pull, and a blistered area that my surgeon said was nothing to worry about, but its making me nervous!
