Hello! I am a 35 year old female with a recent BR (October 2021). I'm wondering if my scars are healing properly. There seems to be thicker lumps and uneven lines. Im not sure if this is normal, and if there's anything I can do to help. I used bio oil at the beginning and now am using a mixture of grapeseed oil, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide. Thank you!
I had my Breast reduction and nipple resize in Feb this year. Today for the first time my one breast hurts a little when I squeeze it but both have the cloudy, white liquid coming out when I squeeze my nipples? I am not pregnant or breastfeeding.
I had a reduction in March and knew instantly I was still too big I was 28F before. I feel they were only lifted. They are still the same now. I left my last appointment in tears and I have been down ever since. I have expressed my concerns on numerous occasions but she assured my they will go down and they look great. I don't want them to look great I want them to not be there. She would not recommend lipo as nor more surgery at my age 23. I am still very upset, and I'm not sure of my options.
I am 5 foot 9 and about 190 pounds. I went from a 36F to a 36 DDD bra size wise, but had 540 and 560 grams removed. Wished it had been much more:) Healing went well other than the slight dog ears on the sides, and the indent down the center of my left breast. PS Says he will fix that, but is waiting. Can anyone tell me what that might entail? What are procedures to resolve this?
Interested in the best method to revise/remove post surgical scars. Feel like cords and are itchy and painful. My areola which separated during the healing phase are now jagged around the edges and look disfigured. The right areola feels like there is more breast tissue inside of it, while the one on the left looks and feels flat. Is there anything that can be done to correct this and if so what is the best route to take. I've used the recommended scar creams. Thank you!
I noticed a hard knot/lump above my left nipple that is causing me concern. I feel other lumps/knots along the crease of this breast as well as my right breast. How can I tell the difference between a lump that can develop after a breast reduction/lift or something more serious? I have an appoint next week to see my PS who specializes in problem breasts. I have a mammogram scheduled for tomorrow at the local hospital.
I had a reduction and lift 9 months ago. One breast is a full cup size larger than the other and my doctor says that this is within normal range and he doesn't see that it needs more work. I left my appt very tearful because I am more self conscience than I was before surgery. Now my fear is that another surgeon won't take me as a patient to re-do. I am wondering if this is something, in your opinions, that another doctor would take? I hope and pray the answer is yes. I have an appt scheduled.
I'm 9 months out from a breast reduction and found 3 hard lumps along the incision line on my left breast. They are fairly small, fixed and hard. Is this normal for this stage of healing? All lumps are just under the incision. Should I be worried?
I underwent a breast reduction/lift in January 2014. My left breast has a huge hard mass that takes up a 3x1 (3 Tbsp) area in the lower part of the breast. My PS says it's fat necrosis. Can you give me options on how to take care of it instead of just waiting it out to see if the body absorbs it. It is not extremely painful, but it does hurt.
