How do I keep from getting big dents in my breasts after reconstruction surgery? After breast cancer my reconstruction has always been under the muscle and has never looked good, this time it was put over the muscle and looks full under and on top. because of past experience I'm afraid of big dents. How can I help prevent this from happening? Surgery was 2 weeks ago with 700cc of silicone. Under my armpit has gotten fat without the drainage tubes and looks like it's forming a dent
5 months out from mastectomies & immediate implants w/ Alloderm. IMF incisions. 371g removed on left, 446g removed on right, and 435cc Natrelle Inspira put in. Thrilled with left. Have concerns with right. I know rippling is not unusual with thin tissues after mastectomy, but I have a large always-present visible dent and I can feel the rippling at outer edge of implant and it sometimes causes pinching/discomfort from movement. Some extra skin at bottom as well. Options and recovery time?
I think I don't have any symmetry they don't resemble breasts? Do they and how could this be corrected? Also my cleavage is very close and I'm worried about having or developing symmastia. What do you think? What can be done about the sides/dents.I lost 26lbs since my mastectomy and feel like this reconstruction needs a total do over!? I seen your professional honest opinions. Thank you so much for your time !
