I just had revision surgery for a lift 12 days ago. The left side of my left breast is pinched together at the incision. Its miserable and painful and Im worried about scarring. I have a message into my doctor but its a long holiday weekend. Help.
I I am very excited for my BL & I have come to terms with the scars, however, I have seen so many mixed advice given on the BEST post up scar treatment. I've seen posts about using silicone strips, medical tape on incisions for 6 months to reduce tension and create easier scar, emu oil(?)...bio oil, etc. What can I do to provide myself the BEST chance at thin, white, flat scars? I want to do the right thing. Anchor pattern to be used. Is there a stitching technique best for thin scarring?
I had Benelli lift less than a year ago & immediately after surgery the stitches tore & the incision lines separated. My areola contracts & gets smaller when exposed to stimuli like cold weather or when touched, I suspect that is the reason why the wound opened up immediately after surgery. What should be done differently in the revision? I am thinking permanent sutures underneath, stitch the wound outside too & botox the areola to stop it contracting. Any other suggestions?
I am 61 years old and had a breast lift and implants eight years ago. Since then, I had some medical issues that were non-related. I gained alot of weight being sedentary During this time frame. I have since lost the weight, however, the upper pole of my breast have definitely fallen as a result. I dont necessarily want a breast lift again. Is it possible to put some type of stitch or tack in in the upper pole to hold the breast up?
I had a Breast lift almost 3 weeks ago and now they are infected. Please help! My doctor, Dr Ishan Basaran is ignoring my calls once he saw the pictures of my infection. I went to a local nurse (I'm in thailand). And she took out some of the stitches as she said they were infected and that they should have dissolved by now. What do I do! The wound is gapping open. Am I gonna have a massive scar? I'm devastated that my body has been ruined forever
I had my surgery on 9/28 Im about 7 weeks and now my left breast scars looks like I have a hold. My doctor says it is ok & Im just looking for a second opinion. Should I not used the silicone tape until those closed up & heal completely?
For some reason after they took the stitches out and the tape off my breast started little by little splitting where my stitches were and is just getting worse and so painful I cant even move! Every time I call my surgeon he say soupy water and iodine bit I see the wound getting bigger and bigger please help I dont know what to do???
I had a breast lift in 2016. In 2022, I still have stitches that never fully dissolved in certain area around my areola. Some are black, and very small. Others are flesh color that have a very foul smell. My scars are very wide, could this be a reason? What would cause my stitches not to dissolve? Was it due to surgical technique and not having them deep enough?
I am 3 weeks post breast lift, and believe I am having a reaction to the stitches. At 2 weeks, my incisions started filling up with fluid and redness around the incision. In some spots it feels like there is space/void. I am on antibiotics and antihistamines and my PS nurse trimmed some splitting surges. Will this resolve with time or will I need to intervene sooner and remove some stitches under this fluid? I am meeting with my surgeon regularly, I am just wondering what others have seen.
