I had a breast uplift on Wednesday (3 days ago) and my left nipple looks great but my right one its looking dark in places. Im really worried about my right nipple having necrosis, I seen my surgeon the day after surgery and was told its just a hematoma? Is there any signs of necrosis here? Im from the United Kingdom and had my surgery in a different part of Europe so its not that easy to go back to see the surgeon.
I had surgery on February 7th and everything was normal until I noticed my incision on the left breast started to open and a little bit of dark blood started coming out but they said it was nothing to worry about... yesterday I woke up and a brown bloody and creamy ooze started to come out.. I went to the ER and my blood work didnt show any sign of infection and the ultrasound showed some liquid near to the incision (theres a hematoma right above the opened incision), Im on antibiotics
I had a breast lift back in January and had a terrible hematoma in one breast. It swelled like crazy and took months for the bruising and swelling to go away. At my 6 month follow up, I still had swelling underneath the breast, which my doctor just cut off about 7 weeks ago. It feels like theres an indent in my breastwill this settle?
lollipop lift was on 12/29/17. Sturdy purple bruise appeared day after surgery under right breast only. Nipples also seem inverted a bit, the left more than the right? I had 101.3 fever on the 31st and breasts were hot but went away with Tylenol. I don't have pain really, just small stinging pains on right breast. Soreness only & discomfort.
2.5 weeks ago: mastoplexy (pre existing implants retained) now 1 breast has become particularly swollen after a smooth recovery process. PS has syringed the bottom of my breast to see if a hemotoma or seroma had developed but no liquid could be drawn. Although my PS believes there is no infection i have antibiotics and anti flammitories which i have taken for 5 days now. I have been signed off work for a week and told to rest. The swelling isnt going down and im getting nervous now. Any ideas?
Nearly 7 weeks post mastopexy fat transfer- my left breast is doing great but my right breast has been trouble from the start with bleeding, then a hematoma, weeks of draining and now its finally at a point where its closing up. It is sure looking like it will be a rough area if it ever closes! I see my surgeon for follow up this week but would like other surgeon thoughts and ideas! Im packing it using polysporin. Ive got all kinds of tunnels too.
I'm three weeks post-op and my right areola is considerably larger than my left, like at least twice its size. I've also had a lot of issues with healing, one week post-op I had a very large hematoma that had to be removed from my right breast. Could that have caused the dramatic change in size? Will it shrink?
I had a breast lift done 2 weeks ago followed by hematoma evacuation surgery. I noticed incision separation which became larger after removing the suture plus pus and some blood discharge on daily dressing. However, My surgeon said it is ok!! Should this area be re-stitched to pull the skin together?? Is it posiible to be infected??
I had a breast lift 1,1/2 weeks ago. They had to go twice in my right breast as I developed a hematoma, which they had to drain (its fine now, hardly any bruising/swelling). My left one seemed fine, until recently I notice it to be harder and somewhat numb inside the nipple area, with sign. more bruising. 2 days ago nurse told me it might be a scar tissue and I should massage the hard bumps. Can it still be a hematoma, and/or will I need additional surgery to remove it and scar tissue?
I had a breast lift (no augmentation) & developed a hematoma 2 weeks after surgery. An ultrasound revealed 21cc of blood in one breast. My PS said to let the hematoma resolve itself. However, yesterday I noticed that the breast is slowly draining drops of blood at the t incision. PS said to apply neosporin and apply gauze to area till bleeding stops. The strips are still in place. Will this compromise the incision healing or lead to an infection?
