I had surgery with a well known Dr in Turkey that I had researched a lot about. I had a lift with implants placed under the muscle 300cc. At first they looked great, perky and high as I wanted. As the months have gone on Ive noticed the left one is riding higher and I have a sore lump to the outer mid part of the breast. I also think they may have been placed too close together. My surgeon keeps saying to wait they will settle but I have some pain in the left side. Help?
Hi! Breast lift/reduction plus implants in Feb 2023 (10 months ago) and no issues since. Really happy with my results. I've noticed a small lump (at first thought it was thick skin along the scar line) with clear borders developing recently. I remember after surgery this exact area was bruised for months and had a small indentation. Now it has a hard, discolored lump. My surgeon said to get an ultrasound but I'm out of country right now, so I wanted to get a second opinion.
Surgery was 10 weeks ago. About a month ago I noticed a lump/hard spot on my right breast to the left of my areola. I have a similar hard area on the other side but it's smaller. I went in 5 days ago for assessment. I seen the PA and after feeling it she said it was normal scar tissue. She said massaging will help break it up. This morning when I woke up it was very painful. The whole area area it hurts. Just pushing on my upper breast is painful. Is this normal?
I asked about my areola scar being painful and swollen on here this week. Now I have this tender lump which looks blood filled. GP has given me antibiotic and thinks it could be just a stitch trying to break through. My surgeon is in Greece and Im uk. Could it be anything else? Many thanks
I had a breast lift with implants 8 months ago. Unfortunately the blood supply to 1 nipple was compromised and the tissue died. I had care for next couple of months to heal the area. I now have a hard lump in that area thats very uncomfortable and and white spots keep appearing on the nipple area that produce white thick discharge. My PS said the lump was probably fat necrosis and should go away but it isnt and its feeling more uncomfortable. Does this sound like something more sinister?
It goes without saying I should talk to my PS. I saw him at 4wk post op and he wasn't very concerned, he said it could be many things, accumulated blood, scar tissue, fibrosis, missed fat, etc but that it was still very early and we'd keep an eye on it. My next appt is in 6 weeks. I've had weekly or 2 x week lymphatic massages and ultrasounds and this has only become more noticeable. Is this common? What could it be? Will it go away on its own? How long?
I had a breast lift with change of implants due to sagging and Ripples. I swapped from saline over the muscle to gel under the muscle. I told my doc I wanted to be bigger but he just changed from 375 to 380. They seem much smaller. Also I have a 2cm wide lump on my left side nipple. And also a dent. On the right side it seems I have a puffy patch that hangs over the tighter skin. Please tell me this is not permanant? Also can I go bigger in a year or so? Feeling so unhappy
Had a lift and augmentation 9 days ago and they seem lumpy to me they don't look like other woman's this far gone after the operation i seen my surgeon yesterday and he said it should come good but I don't feel like it will as they have been like this since day one on both sides he said its where he did most the work in behind where you can see where the lumps are so its still more swollen then other areas but this hasn't changed at all since day one please help
Just this Friday, almost 6 to 7 weeks after my breast implants and lift surgery I found a golf ball sized lump or knot on the left side of my boob. I didn't even notice it until then. I had a mammogram in august which was 2 months ago and the mammogram was fine but there is a history of breast cancer in my family. The plastic surgeon said without seeing it they don't know so I am going to get an ultrasound on wed and seeing a breast specialist. is it more likely it is cancer or from the surgery?
