Hello. My friend just got breast implants and was told to wait a year to get a tattoo. I am a pharmacy student studying infectious disease, and I was wondering is that because of risk of infection? Or does it have something to deal with the scar healing process from the implantation?
I have many chest tattoos, and still need to finish them. Is it wise to get them finished first and then get implants? Or is it better to tattoo over the implants? Will the stretching look horrible?
Hello! No matter what I've tried, I can't get my breast implant scars to not be red. They only look barely noticeable if I rub them. They make me self conscious and I want to get a tattoo to either cover them or border them so they are less noticeable. Will my surgeon be able to still use this scar in the future to replace? If not, can I border the scar with a tattoo (right up to the scar not over it) and he be able to use this scar again? Thank you!
I'm considering getting these tattoos next week (constellation in the same place-under collarbone) and the little prince underneath, so that it should end right over where the breast begins. I've also always been really self-conscious about my breasts and would definitely get implants later on (A cup to C cup most likely). I know the incision is done underneath but, just wondering if the lower tattoo would be ruined/ changed/ stretched out.
I want to get a tattoo on my upper rib cage (3 inches below my armpit), but I am worried that when I get breast implants ( from A to full C), that it'll ruin my tattoo. I am thinking of getting implants next year and would like to get the tattoo now. Should I worry about this and not get the tattoo until after the implants?
I recently got saline under the muscle implants a few days ago. I like them. I chose saline so I could get the scarless breast augmentation via TUBA. I scar easily and I did not want any new scars. Anyway, I have a birth mark at the upper part of my boob. I want to get a small butterfly tattoo over it. But, will the tattoo needle cause the implant to develop a hole and deflate? Maybe I am being paranoid but better safe than sorry. Thanks!
I'm currently at my 8 month mark from a breast augmentation. I've decided to get silicone with the inframammary incision process. I don't mind the rippling too much or the scar tissue texture. However, the appearance of the scar does bother me. I would love to get a tattoo just to cover up the scar line. I'm just a bit worried that it may puncture my implant.
