I am 1.5 years post op from getting 375cc silicone implants placed under the muscle. I am very active and have no issues aside from disliking the feeling of chest dominant exercises. I am now training for a triathlon, and am a bit concerned with the swimming portion since it does involve the pec muscles. My main concern is keeping my implants looking good while training hard. Most swimsuits are not supportive. Should I be swimming in a sports bra? Does support matter as much in a pool? Any tips?
Im considering 300cc silicone BA under the muscle but im a keen swimmer - swimming fast laps for 3-4 hours every week. I have a preference for an implant under the muscle - but have been told I will need to reduce my swimming in order to avoid pushing the implant out of place over time. Can anyone give me an estimate of what is reasonable e.g. 1 - 2 hours of swimming training a week would likely be ok, or if I go with an implant under the muscle should I be considering a new sport altogether.
A few days ago I was vacationing and (idiotically) decided to jump out of a tree into a lake. Hitting the water knocked the wind out of me and then afterwards I felt like my right implant was much looser feeling than before. My thinking is that I likely knocked the implant lose from scar tissue because it looks normal, but I'm not sure. Should I make and appointment with my surgeon, or is that probably all that happened?
I am a Division 1 swimmer on scholarship at my university. I have wanted implants for many years. I have a thin, athletic build with AA to small A cup. Will breast implants to a full B cup hurt my athletic ability in any way? Are they a bad idea for someone of my body type? Thank you.
